All persons attending these dog show events
hereby waive any claim for damage against
the kennel clubs or their members, in the
event a motor vehicle must be entered to
rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation
due to improper ventilation.
“Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs
are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have
appropriate vaccinations.”
Ramps at the sole discretion of the judge, approved breeds may be judged on the ground or on a
ramp: Boykin Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels,
Whippets, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers,
Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows, Keeshonden & Polish Lowland Sheepdogs. (Boykin Spaniels & Whippets
may be judged on the table, ramp or the ground.)
Basset Hounds & Bulldogs are expected to be judged on the ramp during breed judging.
This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in
Judging Operations.
A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show
Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required.
Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the
exhibitor has no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium
list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

From (Charlotte, NC and beyond take I-85 South) or (Atlanta and beyond take I-85
North) - From I-85, take I-385 North to Greenville. Take the South Pleasantburg Drive exit.
Once on South Pleasantburg, turn left at Tower Drive, which will be at the second traffic light
and Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop. Carolina First Center will appear on your left before you
reach Greenville Downtown Airport. Take a left onto Exposition Avenue and you’re there!
From Columbia, South Carolina - Take I-26 toward Asheville to I-385 toward Greenville.
Continue on I-385 exiting at South Pleasantburg Drive. Once on South Pleasantburg, turn
left at Tower Drive, which will be at the second traffic light and Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop.

From Asheville, North Carolina - Take Highway 25 to Greenville. Stay on Business 25/
Hwy 276 (not 25 By-Pass) until you reach 291 By-Pass. (This is a major intersection with an
Eckerds appearing on your left). Take a left onto 291 and continue on 291 crossing Wade
Hampton Boulevard, which is a major, four lane highway. After crossing Wade Hampton
Boulevard, take a right at the next traffic light. This still is 291. Continue on 291, crossing
I-385. After crossing I-385, turn left at the second traffic light onto Tower Drive. Carolina First
Center will appear on your left before you reach Greenville Downtown Airport. Turn left onto
Exposition Avenue and you’re there!
From Greenwood, South Carolina - Take Highway 25 to Greenville. Immediately after crossing
I-85 in Greenville, veer right onto Highway 291. Continue on 291, passing McAlister Square.
After driving under a bridge which is about a block, take a right at the second traffic light
onto Tower Drive. Carolina First Center will appear on your left before you reach Greenville
Downtown Airport. Turn left onto Exposition Avenue and you're there!

Members of the Greenville Kennel Club, Inc. have personally reviewed the following

to walk the dogs and the management welcomes those attending the Greenville Shows.
Call the motel directly to make your reservation and advise them that you are booking
to attend the dog shows held in Greenville.

Building Access
Building hours on the day of the events - 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. A watchman will be on duty at night, however,
the club members and/or the Center assume no responsibility for any loss sustained by any vendor or exhibitor.
Space for unentered dogs will not be provided at these events. Unentered dogs may not be inside the Center.
Vendor vehicles will be allowed inside the event building from 7:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Thursday to unload.
All vehicles must be out of the building by 4:00 P.M.
Golden Retriever and Weimaraner exhibitors will be allowed into Hall 2 at 8:00 A.M. They must promptly
unload their equipment and dogs and remove their vehicles. All vehicles must be removed by 10:00 A.M.
Exhibitors can return to the building to setup their area after the vehicle is removed.
NOTE: Only Golden Retriever and Weimaraner Conformation Exhibitors are allowed
to setup in Hall 2. These Exhibitors must have 75% or more of their entries in one
of these breeds.
Other Exhibitors and Handlers are allowed to drive into Hall 1 and unload from 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
Thursday. Unloading should be complete in under one hour and the vehicle removed from the building. No
vehicles will be allowed to enter the building after 3:30 P.M. After 4:00 P.M. Thursday, unloading and loading
will be done outside in the designated areas. Vehicles unloading in the outside areas must have headlights on
at all times or they will be subject to towing without notice at the vehicles owner's expense.
Event Rules
No firearms are allowed.
No strollers are allowed.
No smoking inside Center.
No space may be saved for others. Exhibitors must establish a grooming area no larger than the immediate
needs for the number of dogs being exhibited. Excessive grooming areas may be reconfigured (reduced) by
the event committee. Stacking of crates may be required.
All exhibitors are respectfully requested to conduct themselves responsibly on the event grounds and at
the motel sites.
Exhibitors and Handlers are responsible to maintain clean conditions in their grooming area. You must clean
up after your dogs in outside areas. Clean and courteous behavior will help insure future use of these facilities.
No private exercise pens are permitted inside the building or in front of the Center. All outside exercise pens
must be setup in the rear of the building on pavement and must have plastic under them.
Ringside crating is allowed during breed judging and must be removed immediately after breed judging. All
crates must be within six (6) feet of the ring fence. Crates left at ringside when breed judging is over will be
removed by the event committee.
Crates, tables & exercise pens are permitted only in designated areas. The show giving clubs reserve the
right to move equipment in front of entrances, in hallways and in any unauthorized areas.
By entering these events, exhibitors and handlers agree to follow all directions of the Event Committee, who
are charged with arranging and maintaining orderly conditions in these areas. Persons failing to abide by all
the directions and requests of the Event Committee will be subject to an Event Committee Hearing.
No Fund Raising Activities will be allowed without prior written permission of the Show Chairmen.
Parking Regulations
All parking fees are determined by, collected and retained by the Carolina First Center.
Day parking is $5.00 per day. There is no parking on grass areas. Any vehicles parking in areas designated
as No Parking or otherwise not in compliance with parking regulations will be subject to ticketing and/or towing
without notice at the owner's expense. This includes blocking fire lanes and other vehicles.
Overnight parking is $15.00 per day for RVs and $5.00 for cars and vans. Overnight parking is allowed in
the designated RV lot only. There are no hookups. The City of Greenville owns the property and has issued a
camping permit for specified times. The RV lots will be available from 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday until 8:00
A.M. on Monday. All vehicles must be out of the RV lot by 8:00 A.M. Monday. Parking on the Center property
before or after the designated times will result in a ticket issued by the Greenville City Police and possible
towing at the owner's expense. Fire lanes must be maintained at all times in the RV lot.
RV generator exhaust must not discharge into's neighbor's space.

Seminar & Workshop Schedule
July 29, 30 & 31, 2011
We will present eight sporting breeds
with full 90 minute seminars and 60 minute hands-on workshops.
These will fulfill two of the components required for your AKC application.
A flat fee of only $25.00 per day will be charged for however many
breeds you wish to attend, be it one or all on that day.
Sporting breeds, presenters, and schedule will be
available on the Carolina Dog Judges Study Group web page soon.

Entries will be accepted by MB-F, Inc. until closing 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, July 13,
2011 for a cost of $10.00 per puppy (use separate entry form). Entries sent after July
13, 2011 will be $15.00 and should be mailed to Barbara A. Finch, 127 Summerfield

Entries will also be taken on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the CLUB'S TABLE,
NOT SUPERINTENDENT'S TABLE until 2:00 P.M. the day of the show.
One combined class will be offered for breeds and varieties of dogs that are (4) four months & under (6)six months and
divided into Groups as described in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and the Miscellaneous
Class breeds as listed in Chapter 3, Section 23. There will be a selection of Best Beginner Puppy in each Breed/
Variety, each Best Beginner Puppy winner will then complete in their respective group for First through Fourth
Placements.The Miscellaneous Class Competition will be judged same as above followed by a Miscellaneous Beginner
Puppy Group Competition. The Foundation Stock Service Class Competition will be judged same as above followed
by a FSS Beginner Puppy Group Competition. The Best Beginner Puppy in Miscellaneous and Best Beginner Puppy
in FSS winners will be eligible to compete in Best Beginner Puppy in Show.
An AKC registration number or litter number will be required for entries of an AKC recognized breed or Miscellaneous
breed. FSS number or FSS registered litter number will be required for FSS entries.
Dogs are required to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order to avoid
inadvertent transmission of illness by/to puppies not yet fully immunized.
AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person and dog entered at this competition. All
applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows will govern the conduct of this competition unless these
regulations state otherwise.
Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications such as
color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this Best Beginner
Puppy in Show Special Attraction.

AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the
dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members,
directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises
and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may
be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the
event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for
any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or
damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13
in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull
Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels
(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions
of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but
whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited
to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is
divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering
your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a
registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which
entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to
the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

Amateur-Owner-Handler Class (effective as of 1/1/2009)
Chapter 3, Section 7 - The Amateur-Owner-Handler Class shall be for dogs that are at least six months of age that
are not champions. Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered owner of the dog. This class is restricted
to exhibitors who have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformation
judge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler. Additionally, members of the immediate family or
household of a current professional handler are ineligible for this class (as defined in Chapter 11, Section 13).

NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - FOR GOLDEN RETRIEVERS, VIZSLAS & WEIMARANERS - For Stud Dogs and two of
their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud
Dog need not necessarily be owner of Get. Get only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the
Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a
condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its
breed. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed (Variety) Competition, or some other Non-Regular Class.
NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - FOR GOLDEN RETRIEVERS, VIZSLAS & WEIMARANERS - The same as Stud Dog
except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog & Produce for Get.
As the judges' decision in the Stud Dog & Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or
bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed or
Variety by virtue of having won these classes.
NR2.09300. Brace Class - FOR VIZSLAS - Two Dogs of the same breed and must have at least one common
owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers. The dogs comprising a Brace MUST be named at time of
entry. If a dog which is to be part of a Brace is not entered in another class, it must be entered for "Brace Class Only"
In making entries for "Brace Class Only", full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms.
An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the
space provided for Additional Classes "Brace Class". If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs
comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, “Brace No. 1,” “Brace No. 2”, etc.
NR2.39900. Parade of Grandsire/Granddam Exhibition - FOR VIZSLAS - Will be exhibited in Parade format. A
Grandsire/Granddam and one of his/her get/produce and one get/produce from his/her get/produce will be shown together
in parade around the ring. Each UNIT will be paraded individually. At least one of the two succeeding generations must
be entered in the show. There is no entry fee for this exhibition although the Grandsire/Granddam must be entered in
this specific class in the space provided for Additional Classes.
80000. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION

Judge: Mr. Lester R. Mapes
The Southern Section of the Weimaraner Club of America’s 2011 Show Futurity will be judged at this show. All dogs
and bitches entered in the Futurity must be entered in one of the regular or non-regular conformation classes of the
Weimaraner Club of America Specialty Show on Thursday, July 28, 2011. A $20.00 entry fee is required to enter
the Futurity after the dog/bitch has been properly entered in one of the regular or non-regular conformation classes.
Indicate Futurity Class on the entry form in the space provided for “Additional Classes”.

10200. Junior Dogs, Born on or after February 1, 2010 through May 31, 2010
10300. Intermediate Dogs, Born on or after October 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010

The order of judging will be: Junior Dog, Intermediate Dog, Senior Dog, Best Dog in Futurity. Junior Bitch, Intermediate
Bitch, Senior Bitch, Best Bitch in Futurity.
After the judging of Best Bitch in Futurity, the Best Dog and Best Bitch will enter the ring together with no further
judging to take place. Both winners will share equally in the honors and awards.
Prize Money
Division of money as prizes: 50% of all monies paid into the Futurity Program retained by the Weimaraner Club of
America for expenses. The purse will be divided on a sectional basis reflecting the total number of dogs and bitches in
competition. After the monies for each show sectional have been computed, the division shall continue as follows: 1/7 th
each to the winners (First Place in each of the classes: Senior, Intermediate, Junior dogs and bitches) 1/14 th (additional)
to the Best Dog in Futurity and to Best Bitch in Futurity. Each winner's share will be divided further and paid in this
manner: 60% to Owner, 40% to Breeder. Notice: all entries must comply with the rules governing the WCA's Show
Futurity. Exhibitor is solely responsible for knowledge of and compliance with those rules.

Placement will be First, Second, Third and Fourth. First place dog will be Best Dog in Maturity. First place bitch will

the ring together with no further judging to take place. Both Winners will share equally in the honors and awards.
Prize Money

will be considered the Breeder's contribution. 50% of the Breeder's contribution will be retained by the Weimaraner

Winners
All Regular Classes are divided by sex and are offered for all
breeds or varieties of breeds unless otherwise noted in the Breed
List. Where classes are further divided by color, weight, or other
breed characteristics, it is so indicated in the Breed List and the
class division MUST be indicated on the entry form.
Chapter 3, Section 7 - The Amateur-Owner-Handler Class
shall be for dogs that are at least six months of age that are not
champions. Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered
owner of the dog. This class is restricted to exhibitors who have
not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC
approved conformation judge, or employed as an assistant to a
professional handler. Additionally, members of the immediate
family or household of a current professional handler are ineligible
for this class (as defined in Chapter 11, Section 13).

will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards.The person

Fax Entries, 1-336-272-0864 or 1-800-SHO-FAXS. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover
sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express number
and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder’s name and address must be included on cover sheet. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/
American Express number, expiration date, cardholder’s name must appear on each entry. Fax entries must be received by the closing
hour/date. Fax fee: $4.50 per entry in addition to entry fee. All credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through
the Fax program and are charged the $4.50 processing fee. This Fax Fee is subject to change without notice.
Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. When you
provide a check as payment, you authorize us to either use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer
from your account or to process the payment as a check. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Superintendent assumes
no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made.
An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog
entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.00 will be
required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American
Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team,
Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)
No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.
Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition
by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and
the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it
is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited
to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the
facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors
and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel
or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC
Event Cancellation Hotline (877) 252-3229.
Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a
collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same
exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund
will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries.
An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee
will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.
Each Owner and Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at a show is bound by the Certification and
Agreement on the front and back of the entry form regardless of who may have completed & submitted the entry form.
As specified in Chapter 12, Section 4 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, information contained on the entry form is required to
be published in the club’s show catalog. This information is also subject to publication in other media.
Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.
Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the
judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.
All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.
Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the
judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent’s Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any
liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.
No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted.
How To Use The Entry Blank
Use one entry blank per dog only if information is exactly the SAME for each day. Carefully check the block
(blocks) for each show in which you wish to enter your dog. You MUST use a separate entry blank if
you are entering your dog in a different class on different days. (e.g. Open Class on Day 1 and AmericanBred Class on Day 2), or, if you are entering an additional class on any of the days (Open Class on Day
1 and Open Class plus Jr. Showmanship on Day 2 or Open Class and Novice A Obedience on Day 2.)
