of the French offer, with a clear and professional
segmentation following three key assets:

The category is consequently improving the competitive edge for the wines it represents, as focusing on
“taste” means that the category has a greater ability
to adapt to consumer demand and expectation.
One of its key aims is to reinforce French brands,
ensuring consistency of product throughout the
year, and from year to year, with the objective of
increasing consumer confidence in the category.

Die Rebsorte ist im internationalen Markt zu einem
bestimmenden Faktor für die Kaufentscheidung
geworden. Als Kategorie beschränkt sich “Vin de
France” + Rebsorte nicht auf Markteinstiegsqualitäten. Auch Markenweine werden in drei Qualitätsstufen
angeboten: Im Einstiegssegment, im mittleren und im

Today, we are more than aware that in the global
wine market, grape variety has become an essential
motivator in wine-purchasing decisions. “Vin de
France” + grape variety is a category which is not
solely intended to represent entry-level wines. Brands
are at liberty to choose between three levels of
quality positioning: basic, medium and premium.

88 recommendations for the international retail market
For the fourth year in a row Anivin de France held a blind tasting in Paris in February. The aim of the event was to select
wines in the Vin de France category worthy of particular recommendation to the international retail market. The French
Union of Oenologists (Union des Œnologues de France, UOEF), which has extensive experience in staging and hosting
international wine competitions such as Vinalies Internationales, was entrusted with organising the wine selection. This
cooperation with such a renowned partner ensured a uniform procedure and ideal tasting conditions.
“Vin de France” exprime essentiellement une simplification de
l’offre française, caractérisée par une segmentation claire et
professionnelle selon trois principes :

Im vierten Jahr in Folge führte Anivin de France im Februar in Paris eine Blindverkostung durch. Ziel dieser Veranstaltung war die Auswahl von Weinen, die dem internationalen Handel in der Kategorie „Vin de France“ besonders
empfohlen werden können. Mit der Organisation der Weinauswahl wurde der französische Önologenverband Union
des Œnologues de France (UOEF) betraut, der über umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Ausrichtung und Durchführung
internationaler Weinwettbewerbe wie Vinalies Internationales verfügt. Über die Zusammenarbeit mit einem derart
renommierten Partner wurden ein einheitliches Verfahren und optimale Verkostungsbedingungen sichergestellt.
La mention “Vin de France” donne ainsi un avantage
concurrentiel accru aux vins qu’elle représente puisque l’accent
porté sur le « goût » permet une plus grande capacité à
s’adapter à la demande et aux attentes du consommateur.

françaises en veillant à la constance du produit d’année en
année, afin d’accroître la confiance du consommateur vis-à-vis
de la catégorie.

méthodique et professionnelle est essentielle à chaque niveau.

Pour la 4ème année consécutive, l‘Anivin de France a réalisé en février dernier à Paris une dégustation à l‘aveugle
pour sélectionner les vins « ambassadeurs » de la catégorie Vin de France. L‘organisation de la Sélection Internationale a été confiée à L‘Union des Œnologues de France (UOEF) pour son expertise dans la tenue de compétitions
internationales telles que les Vinalies Internationales. Placer l’organisation de la Sélection Internationale sous l’égide
d’un partenaire aussi prestigieux garantit une méthodologie rigoureuse et des conditions parfaites de dégustation.
Notre jury de professionnels internationaux a retenu cette année 88 vins sur les 292 proposés. Classés par couleur,
ces vins vous sont présentés dans les pages suivantes. Nous vous souhaitons une bonne dégustation et sommes
certains que cela sera pour vous l’occasion de découvrir de nombreuses marques et cuvées intéressantes.

This year’s expert jury included buyers from the international retail market. Thanks to their perfect knowledge of
the wine market, it was possible to select cuvées with the flavour profile to match the expectations of a great number
of consumers.
