About the
Ambler Theater
The Ambler Theater is a unique venue for
movies and filmmaker events and is central
to the community as a gathering space. The
theater, which operates 365 days of the
year, had an attendance of over 150,000
people in the last year.
The Ambler Theater, built in 1928, was
a town center through the 1960s. In the
1970s, the theater began a 20-year decline,
which resulted in a 5-year closing in 1998.
The theater was taken over by our current
nonprofit in 2002 and, after extensive
renovations, was reopened in February
2003.
A sponsorship with the theater establishes
an association with a stable community
fixture. Your investment in the Ambler

The Ambler Theater is a nonprofit
community-owned theater with over 8,000
members. The theater seats 140 and 110 in
2 of the auditoriums. The third auditorium,
completed in 2007, seats 270. The theater
features digital cinema projection, stadium
seating, and disability access.

Depending on the level of sponsorship,
