We wanted this project to provide young people with a unique
opportunity to learn more about the world around them and,
particularly, about living conditions in the poorer countries. Our
hope was that this would develop their spirit of cooperation and
solidarity, while at the same time promoting and increasing their
fluency in the beautiful French language.
Thanks to you, we have raised the awareness of millions of young
people and with your help, we will continue with our mission
through this important project that is so close to my heart.
I thank you all, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet
a great many of you personally during this 25th edition!
