Fitting Guide
Diameter and base curve
We recommend working with trial lenses.
1. Categorisation of Keratoconus (Topography) :
Stage 1-2 (VA > 60%) oder stage 3-4 (VA < 60%)
2. Base curve and diameter of first trial lens:
Stage 1-2:
BC = 8.00 /
Stage 3-4: BC = 7.80 /
= 14.00 mm
= 13.70 mm
Application flow
Use one of the fitting lenses for 30 min.
Make first observations of stabilisation and movement
Over refraction (use details of autorefractometer).
If the over refraction visual acuity (VA) is not satisfactory try using a flatter or steeper base curve,
or using an increased centre thickness.
Order the final lens with the serial number of the trial lens and over refraction.
Caution: note serial number from the trial lens for the next order.
Advice
For reorder with new over refraction, use always the old trial lens.
To remove the lens, push the upper - and under lid together..
In case of halos - enlarge the optical zone diameter.
