WE ARE IN HIS HANDS
Whether you’re into numbers, words, technology, or people, God
can use your gifts and skills to make a difference. There are several
ways you can put your gifts to work at Mt. Rubidoux no matter who
you are, or where you’re from.
2
If you’ve been served by Mt. Rubidoux, whether it be through greeters on Saturday morning, teachers in RubiTown, enjoying a fellowship meal after church, clean bathrooms stocked with toiletries,
security who keep our kids and worship environment safe, musicians on stage leading us in worship, or any number of other ways
– chances are you’ve been served by a faithful volunteer giving up
time and talent to serve Jesus by serving you.
It takes over 200 volunteers to operate the ministries of this church
every week. Are you willing to help? Our needs are as diverse as
the people who attend our services. If you consider Mt. Rubidoux
your church, we ask you to serve as a volunteer. By doing so, you’re
an essential part of helping others meet Jesus.
This document will aid you in finding out how you can get involved
serving others in our church community.
Within this brochure is a detailed list of the many available ministry
opportunities here at Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church. You will find a brief
description of the position to help guide you.
The Volunteer Team exists to connect volunteers to service opportunities at Mt. Rubidoux. This team is responsible for helping
members discover their spirirtual gifts and assimilating them into a
ministry. If you are interested in service through a Mt. Rubidoux ministry, please feel free to contact us. Contact Volunteer Team Leader

Impact Riverside
Jesus made it clear that one of our responsibilities is to help those
who are hurting and in need. Our Outreach Ministry, known as
Impact Riverside, is specifically designed to impact those in our
community. We accomplish this by partnering with and providing
resources to community agencies and non-profits that are making
a difference in the five Impact areas we have identified. We invite
you to join us in making a difference in one of these five areas:
Ending homelessness - This group works inside and outside of the
church on various initiatives to target and end homelessness in the
community.
Community Services - This branch of the Outreach team provides
food, clothing and other resources to community members in need.
Health and Wellness - Health Ministry leaders work to provide relevant information regarding proper nutritional standards for members and community members.
At-risk Youth, Mentoring and Education - Persons on this team
partner with community organizations to ensure that at-risk youth
are mentored appropriately. Additionally, many students are eligible to receive tutoring and scholarships.
