Testing Day
Getting Extra Help With Our
Teachers
Students have the opportunity to meet with our
teachers for extra help. Encourage them to take
these opportunities to receive small group and
one-on-one attention!
World History (Mr. Martin) - Every Tuesday
morning @ 7:30am - 8:30am in Room 210
English/Religion/Misc (Sister Marie) - Every
Wednesday Morning @ 8am - 8:45am in Library
Students from grades 9 through 11
participated in a day of testing on
October 17. 9th graders took the EXPLORE
test, 10th graders took the PLAN test, and
11th graders took the PSAT.
DATES TO REMEMBER
While these tests do not affect grades, it is
important that students try their best, as they
allow us to see how they are doing academically. In addition,11th graders are eligible to
receive scholarships if they receive high
scores on the PSATs. Students who score in
the top 1% receive the National Merit
Scholarship award.
These tests help students prepare for future
standardized tests such as the SATs, ACTs,
and APs, in which colleges require when
students begin applying.
