Buongiorno,
Gelatiere di Morbegno was started in 1986. We use the combination of tradition and experimentation to
produce the highest quality, homemade, artisan ice cream.
We are always looking for new and interesting ways to improve our ice cream. Along with our many
traditional flavors, Mauro and Gabriele also experiment with creative ice cream from various traditional
ingredients that come from Valchiavenna and Valtellina: Prosto cookies, Bitto cheese, Grumello wine,
Inferno and Sassella wine, Braulio liquer, Polenta, Pizzoccheri and Porcini.
Over the years we have expanded production with the addition of new flavors. Often times these new
flavors come from suggestions from our clients, whow we always try to please. It is for this that we offer
various alternatives such as gluten­free, dairy­free, sugar­free and organic ice cream.
A FLAVOR FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL AND ICE CREAM FOR EVERYONE! PRODUCED FROM THE
FINEST INGREDIENTS, WORKED TO PERFECTION IN THE TRADITIONAL METHOD.
Another mission of ours is to bring the old tradition back which has brought such joy and friendliness to
some many occasions: the ice­cream wagon. With all the bells and whistles that help animate country
fairs, festivals, weddings and any type of grand celebration or event.
Among our most important collaborations we have worked with FARMACEUTICA ZAMBON,
POMELLATO GIOIELLI, VILLA DEL BALBIANELLO in Lenno (Co) Italy, the UNIVERSITA’ BOCCONI
and a star­studded wedding in Venice... While we have worked at many events we would also like to
remind you of our participation in the “Goccia d’oro” competition in Perledo in 2007 where we won First
Place for our Olive Oil Ice Cream and at The Artisan Ice Cream Festival in San Remo in 2008 and 2009
where we ranked among the top 15 chocolate ice creams and 5th place for our pistachio ice cream.
