Chapter Inductions in Northern Luzon
The Northern Luzon Chapters continued to be lively and vibrant with their
inductions and other activities. The following were held by some chapters from
March to June 2015.
Inductions and Modules
The Pampanga Chapter, with a Filipiniana-themed night, was the first to be
have an induction this year and this took place at King’s Royale Hotel, San
Fernando, Pampanga on April 17, 2015. Dr. Dax M. Tidula is the new Chapter
President with the following as Chapter Officers: Vice President: Dr Jeffrey
Anthony R. Galura, Secretary: Dr. Evelyn G. Aguas, Treasurer: Dr. Ofelia P.
Velasquez, auditor: Dr Eloisa S. Aquino, PRO: Dr. Alvin Rene R. Susi and CME
Coordinator: Dr. Ronaldo D. Cuevas.
Dr. Maria Victoria Concepcion P. Cruz, PAFP Executive Secretary inducted
the officers, witnessed by Dr. Policarpio Joves, Jr., National Treasurer and Dr.
Margaret Jean C. de Guzman, Regional Director. The Chapter’s Founding
President, Dr.Pedro G. Papio graced the occasion.
Four new members were inducted. The chapter discussed with the National
Officers issues on membership, CME and training.
Pampanga Chapter
Pampanga Chapter
On May 9, 2015, it was the turn of the members from the land of the
famous bangus to be inducted, the Pangasinan Chapter held its induction at the
City de Luxe Restaurant. This was preceded by a lecture on pain management
entitled “Step Up” by Dr. Reylan Flores.
Dr. Alex J. Bienvenido Alip Jr., PAFP National President inducted the
officers: President: Dr. Benjamin Marcial O. Bautista, Vice President: Dr. Amelyn
Ramos-Rafael, Secretary: Dr. Elizabeth s. Alimorong, Treasurer: Dr. Virginia C.
Petrola, Auditor: Dr. Marissa A. Fernandez, PRO: Dr. Hilarion H. Maramba. Dr.
Aurora R. Espinoza, Member of the National Board and former Chapter President
and Dr. Margaret Jean C. de Guzman witnessed the event.
Pangasinan Chapter
The entertaining and energetic Angeles City Chapter chose a formal theme
for their induction and 25th Anniversary last May 22, 2015 at the Grand Palazzo
Royale, Angeles City. A scientific lecture on Amlife Double Blocking the
Cardiovascular Disease by Dr. Josephus P. Sibal was followed by the induction of
officers and four new members officiated by Dr. Eva Irene Yu-Maglonzo, PAFP
National Vice-President and witnessed by Dr. Maria Victoria Concepcion Cruz and
Dr. Margaret Jean C. de Guzman. The affair was followed by a fellowship which
was enjoyed by all.

Veredigna S. Santos, Business Managers: Dr. Erlyne Ma. R. Fausto and Dr. Anita V.
Mandal.
Angeles City Chapter
The multi-awarded Isabela Chapter held its induction ceremony last May
30, 2015 at Zen Hotel, Santiago City. It was preceded by the CME ModuleHepatitis B: the Yellow Revolution- A Biopsychosocial Approach, lectured by Dr.
Eva Irene Yu- Maglonzo who also inducted the officers: President: Dr. Myrna D.
Costales, Vice President: Dr. Bonaleth M. De Vera, Secretary: Jeannette R. Abella,
Treasurer: Robely D.Go, Auditor: Floren G. Mallabo, Business Manager: Dr. Danilo
M. Manango, Board of Directors: Dr. Rosa Lina M. Balot, Dr. Ester R. Garcia, Dr.
Inesita A. Javonillo, Dr. Mila L. Paguila, Dr. Felipe Salvador Jr, Dr. Wilfrido F.
Simbul, Dr. Fernando U. Ty, and Dr. Normita O. Villarico. Dr. Margaret Jean C. de
Guzman stood as witness during the induction.
Isabela Chapter
It was in historic Malolos, Bulacan where the Bulacan Chapter chose to
hold its 39th Induction of Officers and Turn Over Ceremonies. The officers came in
refreshing green unfazed by the heavy rain at Kulinarya ng Tisa, Cabanas, Malolos
on June 19, 2015. The chapter’s theme was: PAFP Bulacan - Pagbuklurin ang
Kakayanan para sa Kalusugan at Kaunlaran.
The affair started with a scientific lecture on Dapagliflozin: an InsulinIndependent Approach in Managing Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by Dr.
Mary Anne Batongbacal. This was followed by the induction of the following
officers by Dr Alex J Bienvenido Alip Jr: President: Dr. Rhodora F. Pesebre, Vice
President: Dr. Emmanuel E. Vera and Dr. Jaime G. Santiago, Secretary: Dr. Anna
Rosalia J. San Diego, Assistant Secretary: Dr. Cecile I. Madlangawa, Treasurer: Dr.
Wilma C. Victoria, Assistant Treasurer: Dr. Ofelia R. Cruz, Auditor: Dr. Agnes G.
Esperidion, CME Coordinators: Dr. Maria Lilia S. Marquez, Dr. Emily V. Paulino, Dr.
Nora S. Marcelo, Dr. Prima Leah L. Chua. The induction was witnessed by Dr.
Margaret Jean C. de Guzman.
Bulacan Chapter
The melting pot that is Tarlac City, was the place where Tarlac Chapter
chose to hold its induction on June 24, 2015. It was in Fortune HongKong Seafood
Restaurant where Dr. Alex J Bienvenido Alip, Jr. inducted the officers and one new
member. The officers are: President: Christine Anne Corazon A. Lamorena, Vice
President: Dr. Ryan T. Bonifacio, Secretary: Dr. Joseph Maxmari Sebastian L.
Danan, Treasurer: Dr. Natividad M. Mannong, PRO: Dr. Josephine M. Lagade,
Auditor: Dr. Rommel M. Hernandez. This was followed by the CME Module on
COPD: Revisiting the Science and Evidence of Oral Methylprednisolone- Focus on
Obstructive Airways by Dr Cristina Pascual and Biopsychosocial Approach to COPD
by Dr. Anna Guia Limpoco.
