NOAH is the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation and provides support, advocacy, and resources for those living with albinism. My parents found out that I had albinism when I was just 3 months old. Albinism causes a visual impairment due to lack of pigment in the eyes, so I can’t see as far as or as clearly as other people. NOAH helped my parents understand that even though I have albinism, I can do anything! For my Bat Mitzvah project, I am raising money for the NOAH bowl-a-thon fundraiser because NOAH means so much to me and has changed my life so much! Any amount would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. Checks made payable to NOAH can be dropped off in the RPRY office or online donations can be made at http://noah.kintera.org/bowl/sophie. Thank you for your help, Sophie Ostrove Peace Of Mind Parlor Meeting Peace of Mind provides discharged Israeli soldiers, who have completed at least 3 years of active duty, time in Israel and in American host communities in which they can receive treatment for PTSD.
