DESIGNER: What style slides and hinging for drawers and doors?
LIGHTING:
Using accent lighting adds so much to a kitchen. It creates visual beauty, a soft ambiance
and draws the eye in to notice the beauty of the space. Drop in an interesting pendant light
above your sink, or unique lighting above your island. Also, have you thought of any
cabinetry lighting inside and/or beneath your cabinets? It can be used throughout or just
in specific areas. Are you interested in using any accent lighting?
COUNTERS:
Quartz is becoming the material of choice for countertops. It is heat and stain resistant and maintenance free. Granite is still
highly desired and is unique with no two cuts being the same, although it does require some maintenance. Laminate is offered
in different grades and is the most price conscious option. It’s an important decision; your tops will be in your space for years
to come. What do you envision in your kitchen?
SPLASH:
A backsplash adds visual interest, texture, style and a
finished look to your kitchen. It also has purpose, protecting
your walls from splatters of cooking/baking/etc. Would you
like a backsplash using tile or other materials?

SINK & FAUCET:
Your sink and faucet need to suite your lifestyle and function to
your specific needs. Do you want your sink to be dropped in or
under-mounted? Under-mounted sinks are becoming the
popular choice because of the clean look and ease of cleaning.
There are several styles, finishes and brands of faucets and
different material options and colors for your sink.
What do you envision in your kitchen and what specific features do you want in your sink and faucet?
FLOORING:
A hard surface, such as tile or hardwood, for your kitchen flooring is ideal. It should be stain resistant and durable. Tile can
add interest using a decorative pattern and offers many color options. Hardwood can add timeless beauty to a space and some
prefer it because it’s not as hard or cold under-foot. What do you envision in your new kitchen? Are there other areas of your
home that you are interested in getting new flooring for?
