Intimate Encounters is a marriage enrichment class designed to offer practical help to make good marriages better and provide hope and healing for troubled marriages. Environments MoneyWi$e provides financial mentors who help to apply God’s principles to money management. Oasis Divorce Recovery provides a place of comfort, encouragement, healing, and learning for those experiencing the pain of separation and divorce. Counseling Referrals are available for those in need of a competent and caring Christian counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Host Team is a strategic service option whose mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by welcoming, informing, and serving those attending our services. Communit y Groups * Community G ro u p s Community Groups are small groups of approximately six married couples or eight individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in Groups someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages and stages of life regardless of spiritual maturity, and provide participants an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God and with one another. Connect: The primary way to join a community group is to Community attend GroupLink. GroupLink is a two-hour event where you will connect with others and form a community group. We don’t place you in a group; you attend and choose your own. Community groups that form at GroupLink initially commit to meet for eight weeks as a “starter group.” After those first eight weeks, the group members decide if they want to continue meeting together for an additional 16-22 months. Volunteer: A community group leader possesses the spiritual maturity and leadership necessary to lead others as they pursue a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. An assimilator informs group seekers about upcoming GroupLinks and helps them connect and form community groups during the event. I n s i d e O u t [ 9 t h ~ 1 2 t h g r a d e ] * | Hi g h S ch o o l High School InsideOut is the Sunday afternoon environment for high school students (9th-12th grade) that focuses on seeing God build us from the inside out! Students are encouraged to prioritize their relationship with Christ, influence their friends, and experience personal ministry. Every InsideOut involves plenty of fun, live worship, a relevant message, and small group time. In addition, there are four yearly events for students to attend: a fall weekend retreat, a winter weekend, a summer camp called “The Walk,” and an annual mission trip. Connect: InsideOut meets every Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 week! InsideOut | p.m. in the Attic. Preregistration is not necessary. Dinner is served every Volunteer: A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available for InsideOut. Small group leaders lead small group discussions and serve as a student’s primary contact with InsideOut. Production team volunteers create a great large group environment with worship, games, and creative media. Host team volunteers welcome students. It’s full of music, video, drama, and fun! It correlates with the UpStreet curriculum, reinforcing the monthly virtues and Bible stories for kids, while partnering with parents through “teachable moments” at home. Connect: KidStuf happens at 10:10 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. (after the worship service and UpStreet). No registration is needed to attend KidStuf. When dropping your child off at UpStreet, simply tell the room leader that you’ll be meeting your child at KidStuf after the worship service. Of course, you can always pick your child up from UpStreet and go together! KidStuf | Volunteer: There are four ways to volunteer in KidStuf. Our production team serves to help create an incredible shared experience for families. The host team volunteers serve by greeting families and making sure kids and parents have security tags. The concierge team provides our guest services to make new families feel welcomed and informed. Our crowd control sits with the kids to make sure they stay focused and safe. Each event is produced with one of our “six essentials for a great marriage” in mind (trust God, hurry home, cultivate MarriedLife communication, nurture romance, celebrate differences, and finish together). We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That’s why it’s important to make sure your child connects with the same friends, same leaders, at the same hour – EVERY SUNDAY! Storytellers, worship leaders, and tech team volunteers help create our large group environment where kids hear God’s Word and participate in worship. This is where kids connect relationally with a consistent small group leader, a small group of friends, and learn what God’s Word says and how it fits into their lives. Waumba Land | Connect: Waumba Land is open every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each worship service. Enrolling your child in Waumba Land is easy. Simply check in at the registration desk at the entrance to Waumba Land, fill out a quick form, and we’ll escort you to your child’s room. Registration is a great place to get all of your questions answered as well. Volunteer: A wide variety of volunteer and leadership opportunities are available in Waumba Land. Coaches and small group leaders work on a weekly basis to create a fun and loving environment for children to learn about their Heavenly Father. Our production team, worship leaders, and storytellers produce a high-energy large group time. Host team volunteers welcome families, assist them through the registration process, and escort them to the appropriate rooms. Xtreme | Volunteer: A wide variety of volunteer and leadership opportunities are available in Xtreme. We have volunteer roles in the areas of production, host team, and small group leaders. The role of a small group leader is by far our most involved. Our leaders spend three years with the same group of middle school students, walking alongside them in their faith journeys. H o s t Te a m * HOST TEAM Host Team is a strategic service option whose mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by welcoming, informing, and serving those attending our services. Te a m Connect: We believe that worship begins in the parking lot, where we warmly greet arriving guests! At the main entrance, we are available to escort families and individuals to various environments throughout the church. In the auditoriums, we greet, hand out bulletins, usher, collect the Host offering, and assist the production staff in creating an irresistible worship experience. We also staff the Information Center with well-informed and caring volunteers to provide in-depth answers. Volunteer: New volunteers serve two and a half hours once every few weeks on a parking or worship service team. Experienced volunteers may be asked to serve in more comprehensive roles, such as an Information Center volunteer or as a parking or worship service team leader. North Point’s community groups provide the relationships and leadership necessary to provide care for most of the needs of our church members and regular attendees. The Care Network, however, exists to serve the needs of those who are in "special care" situations, whether it’s a person not in a community group or one who has needs that go beyond the scope of what the community group can provide. * Hope Ministry provides one-on-one caring relationships for those who are hurting and experiencing many kinds of needs. Fusion cycles occur three times a year and Fusion groups connect five times over the course of each cycle in various Singles locations around the metro Atlanta area. Connect: Fusion operates on a three-month cycle beginning with an event called in:Fusion. in:Fusion events are held in January, May, and September. The Fusion Gatherings that follow consist of approximately 30 people who connect five times over a three-month cycle Fusion | on the 1st and 3rd Sunday nights of each month. You can register for a Fusion Gathering at in:Fusion, the Information Center, or at www.northpointsingles.org/fusion. Volunteer: There are two different ways you can get involved with Fusion – as a leader or as a part of a support team. Fusion leaders maintain the overall goal of Fusion within their gathering. Support team volunteers are responsible for assisting the leaders in the logistics of the gathering (planning socials, phone calls, emails, greeting, etc.). There is no need to register to attend; all singles are welcome to show up any Tuesday night to experience God and grow together. While primarily a worship and teaching environment, 7|22 also assists participants in taking next steps to Fusion and small groups. 7|22 | Singles Connect: 7|22 meets weekly throughout the year, with the exception of summer. We only meet once a month during June, July, and August and resume our weekly schedule in September. There is no need to register to attend; all singles are welcome to show up any Tuesday night to experience God and grow together. While we do not break out into discussion groups, we do offer assistance with getting connected into Fusion and small groups as a means of taking next steps. Volunteer: Volunteering is THE best way to get connected at 7|22. Our team of volunteers is composed of an amazing group of servanthearted people who are critical to our ministry. There are several ways to get involved with 7|22 through our various volunteer teams. We ask that all volunteers commit to one year of service.
