Ormazabal´s investments in China

years and in 2011 a state of the art
factory was established in Kunshan,
as being one of the most modern
factories, to produce gas insulated
RMUs and to deliver them to
Chinese market, as well as, to the
rest of South East Asia regions.

Ormazabal has more than 25 years
presence in China. After delivering
its first units via distributors at the
end of 1980´s, Ormazabal Zhuhai
Switchgear Co., Ltd., formerly
known as F&G China Electric Ltd.,
was founded in 1991 as being
the first wholly German owned
enterprise established in mainland
China. Ormazabal NRG (Beijing)
Switchgear Company Limited,
was established in 1994 as a joint
venture with Beijing PSB. These two
companies became wholly owned
by Ormazabal in 2004 and 2008
respectively, following to F&G´s
acquisition by Ormazabal.
