New executive named at First National Bank Steve Gonzalo has been named president and chief executive officer of First National Bank of Ottawa. He joined the bank in 2001 as executive vice president and chief technology officer. He received his degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University. Gonzalo is chairman of the board at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Deer Park Country Club. Steven also serves as trustee for the Illinois Valley Fine Arts Trust and Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra and director of the United Way of Eastern LaSalle County. He has lectured at conferences on behalf of the Federal Reserve Bank and American Bankers Association. Streator loses longtime insurance man Longtime Streator State Farm Agent Randy Lewis died unexpectedly Tuesday. Office Manager Jackie Laird said office staff would be contacting existing customers and another agent is expected to come after the first of the year. Lewis, 71, was a State Farm agent in Streator for more than 43 years. His office is located in Westgate Plaza. He was a member of many Streator organizatons, and also served on the Streator Elementary School District 44 Board for 13 years. Golf outing to honor supporter Lindeman The North Central Illinois Council of Government changed its golf outing to honor Jan Lindeman, father of senior staff personnel Kevin Lindeman.
