This year you will have a choice between two entrees. One is a combination of beef and chicken; the other is grilled salmon. When you pay for
the banquet, I will send out an email to you with a link so you can select
your preference. If you have special dietary needs such as gluten free or
vegetarian please let me know.

News from the Summit!
Ibex has had a very successful Trip Season! Total travel spots = 210
Western trip spots= 114, Switzerland = 40, Lisbon= 25
Granite Peak= 21 adults, 10 kids.
The final trip of the year, Breckenridge, is in progress now. All the trips have been fun. The Trip leaders have done a fantastic job!
Post trip surveys have shown favorable comments for the destinations, lodging, travel, trip leader organization, and overall Ibex camaraderie. If you missed out turning in a survey or forgot a comment

Pictures needed year-end slide show!
Last day pictures will be accepted= April 11th.
Time to send pictures for the year end slide show! Submit up to 10 of your favorite pictures from each
trip. Edited videos also welcome, 2 minute time limit! email pictures to [email protected] or bring
a flash drive to a meeting. Let me know you are bringing the pictures and I will be sure to bring my
computer to download them on the spot. Jean

On March 15th ten Ibex cooks brought their best chili’s to
be judged in the annual Chili Cook-Off. This years cooks
were Carl Berg, Lucy DiFrancisco, Bill Haussmann, Kathy
Burns, Jim Malinowski, Chris Smith, Rich Fontagneres,
Joe Davis, Cindy Lane, and Mary Kay Swanlund.
This years winners were Carl Berg for Hottest, Chris
Smith for Spiciest, Kathy Burns for Most Unusual
and Mary Kay Swanlund for Best Tasting.
A special thanks to all the cooks who make the cook-off
possible, to Ivana Horak for her wings, to all those who
brought desserts and to Cindy Warta for counting the
votes.
After we finished tasting, the winners received their 1 st
place aprons and the remainder of the night was spent
drinking and socializing. Finally thanks to all the judges
who picked these award winning chili’s. It’s not to early
to start thinking about your recipes for next year!!!

Announcing the Ibex June Golf Outing !!!!
Yes, folks it is true the snow is gone and the golf courses are opening so it is time for you Ibex
hackers to dust off the clubs and get ready for the annual Ibex June outing.
This year the outing will be at Fox Run Golf Links in Elk Grove on June 7th!!
Tee times will start mid morning (9:30ish) and there will be prizes and party directly after at Lou &
Lucy's house in Elk Grove.
Prices will be very simalar to last year, after final calculations are made the prices will be announced at
the April 2nd meeting and we will start taking signups.
I am looking for a volunteer to help with prizes and food, please let me know if you are interested.

will be begin membership sign up of for 2014-2015. I will have forms at the May 7th meeting. To
