The Celebration
On November 27, 2014, at Torwar Hall, Warsaw, Fundacja Dziecieca
Fantazja will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of making dreams come
true for Polish terminally-ill children. Since granting its first child’s wish in
February 2004, Fantazja’s small dedicated team has proudly accomplished
over 3,500 wishes for its children.
The Gala Celebration Dinner features 3 Main Events during the evening.
The first will feature an incredible world record attempt by 11 year old
Polish-Canadian, Olivia Rybicka-Oliver, from Halifax, Canada. Olivia will
be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest spinner
on ice skates - to help raise funds for Fantazja and bring smiles to many
more sick children in Poland.
The existing world record was set in 2006 by 26 year old Natalia Kanounnikova (Russia) at 308 RPM - an
event that was broadcast live on American TV from the Rockefeller Center, New York.
Olivia’s record attempt will be followed by a spectacular dance show from
James Devine - the official "fastest dancer in the world" and who, like
Olivia, is “FULL OF ENERGY”. James’s record speed has never been
equalled and he has performed his pulsating show, thrilling audiences,
around the world!
And the evening’s “GRAND FINALE” will be an electrifying performance
by FUSE - Linzi Stoppard & Ben Lee - the world’s leading contemporary
violin duo and THE OFFICIAL FASTEST VIOLINISTS IN THE
WORLD! Linzi & Ben will each be performing on their $1.5 Million
Swarovski Crystal Electric Violins and the World’s First Ever $2 Million
24 Carat Golden Electric Violins!
FUSE has performed in over 80 countries and in 2013 performed to TV audiences in excess of 120
million. They have recently performed private shows for Her Majesty the Queen; Prince Albert of Monaco,
Ivana Trump and Playboy’s Hugh Hefner!

Olivia
Olivia Rybicka-Oliver was born in Warsaw in 2003 and
moved with her Polish mother and Canadian father to
Halifax, Canada, in 2006.
Olivia has only been figure skating for 3 years but early on she
discovered that she has a special talent for spinning! She is not
only passionate and committed, on ice 3 hours a day, but she
is also a wonderful role model and inspiration to others.
Olivia is a Grade A student, speaking Polish, English & French, and each year she dedicates her time to
bring joy and happiness to terminally-ill children in Poland - travelling with her mom, Olivia visits the
homes of 14 sick children to deliver their wishes. Olivia has been part of Fantazja since she was born - as
her parents established the foundation in thanks for their daughter being healthy. She is now giving back!
Olivia has been training hard to try and break the World Record - to be crowned the Ice Princess of Spin!
The technology to accurately measure her speed has been designed by the faculty and students from the
Polish Military University of Technology in Warsaw and the world record attempt will be verified by
Record Setters!
Olivia is reaching for her dream and by doing so she will help Polish children less fortunate receive theirs and hopefully inspire her generation to do the same!
James
James Devine is certified by the Guinness Book of World
Records as “The Fastest Dancer in the World.”
Devine clocks in at an astounding 38 taps per second to
create a whole new kind of theatrical experience.
The New York Times hailed him “a delight between Fred
Astaire elegance and Savion Glover brilliance” and he was the
first male dancer outside of opera and ballet to perform at
The Grand Theatre in Warsaw in its 200 year history!
James has appeared on major television shows worldwide including the Oscar ceremony of the 69th Annual
Academy Awards, and his choreography has been featured on television and theatre stages the world over.
Irish-born Devine followed in his mother’s footsteps when he had his first dance lesson at the tender age of
eight. When he was 14 he achieved the highest honor bestowed on an Irish dancer by winning “The Grand
Slam” – World, American, British, and All-Ireland titles in the same year.
James has prepared an electrifying show for us – which cannot be missed!
Linzi & Ben
Virtuoso musicians Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee are FUSE – the international artists who are blowing
audiences away with their explosive live performances!
Linzi Stoppard is one of the most exciting and edgy electric violin
artists around today, who pushes the boundaries of musical
convention.
Linzi has been playing the classical violin from the age of four
when she attended the prestigious Suzuki Violin School which
eschews traditional learning techniques for violin. Linzi built up an
enviable reputation as a solo electric violinist performing at
prestigious events globally.
Linzi is the daughter-in-law of playwright Sir Tom Stoppard &
UK’s favourite health expert Dr. Miriam Stoppard OBE.
Ben Lee is one of the most innovative and exciting electric violinists
around today, a violin hero, exploring the wild frontiers of electric
violin technique and sound.
Life with music started at an early age for Ben, who was given a
very small violin for his 5th birthday. His guitarist dad who had
worked with Pink Floyd and Humble Pie encouraged Ben to play
along with the records.
When he was 11 he recorded his first single at Capital Radio,
London and at the age of 16 he was awarded the “Daily Telegraph
Young Jazz Composer of the Year.”
Ben soon earned himself the reputation as the number 1 cool choice violinist for bands and artists such as
Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Gorillaz, Amy Winehouse, White Lies, Goldfrapp, Mark Ronson and
Tynchey Stryder.

Fundacja Dziecieca Fantazja
Is a non-profit charitable organization, based in Warsaw, whose singular focus is to “light up the lives” of
terminally-ill children in Poland by making their fondest wishes and dreams come true. Fantazja was one of
the first Polish public benefit organizations to be registered in Warsaw under the new public benefit act.
Since granting its first child’s dream in February 2004, Fantazja’s small dedicated team
