PTA e-Noticeboard Issue 10, November 14th, 2014 Welcome to the PTA noticeboard. This is a newsletter put together by parents for parents. The aim is to create a community noticeboard where you can promote products or services that are of interest to others, and enhance our community. Fundacja Dziecięca Fantazja – GALA CELEBRATION & SHOW, November 27th Tickets are now available for the spectacular Gala Celebration Dinner & Show, with the fastest stars in the world, to be held at Torwar Hall, Warsaw, on Thursday November 27. One British School Student, under 18, goes FREE with every 2 Adults! It will be a wonderful evening to honor the 10th Anniversary of our children's charity, Fundacja Dziecięca Fantazja, which has proudly accomplished over 3,500 beautiful wishes and dreams for terminally-ill children in Poland. Our Gala Celebration Dinner & Show features: 1. Dinner for 400 guests – Polish, European & American cuisines. 2. An electrifying performance by UK stars, FUSE. Linzi Stoppard & Ben Lee, the world’s leading contemporary violin duo and the fastest in the world will be performing on their $1.5 Million Swarovski Crystal Electric Violins! A World Record Attempt by 11-year old Olivia Rybicka-Oliver to become the fastest spinner on ice skates. Olivia, a British citizen, who was born in Poland and now lives in Canada, is attempting to break the Guinness world record which was set in 2006 by Russian Natalia Kanounnikova (26) at 308RPM. The technology to accurately measure her speed has been designed by the faculty and students from the Polish Military University of Technology in Warsaw and the world record attempt will be verified by Record Setters! AND, much more... Many of these wishes must be delivered in time for Christmas as for some of the children, it will be their last!
