St. Patrick School Wins Big at FBLA Conference
On March 11, St. Patrick School had the distinct privilege of participating in this
year’s Future Business Leaders of America held at Morehead State University. Twenty
students from St. Patrick School participated in 15 individual and team oriented
events that challenged their comprehension of business related fundamentals. St. Patrick School is proud to announce that of the 20 students in attendance, 10 participants earned awards for his or her events. The students and awards earned by their
diligence is as follows:
Maria Hyrcza – 1st Place – Accounting I (Individual Competition)
Jarrod McCall – 3rd Place – Accounting II (Individual Competition)
Emma Frye, Cathy Kern, Emily Kern – 1st Place – Banking & Financial Systems
(Team Competition)

These students, having placed in this year’s regional competition, will be competing
in the State FBLA Conference in Louisville on April 20, 21 and 22. This is an exciting
opportunity for the students of St. Patrick School and we are proud of their hard
