It seeks to engage all sectors of the industry to make plant theft more difficult and unattractive to criminals. CITS is a not-for-profit body with unpaid board members from across the construction plant industry. It represents members in discussions with other like-minded bodies and is recognised by the Home Office Plant Theft Action Group. The 2014 CITS conference looks at how construction and related sectors can take a proactive stance on combating theft at a time of scarce funding and competing policing priorities. The tour will then move on to the assembly line of the world famous Backhoe Loader machine, here you will see the process of how the machine is built from the delivery of the sheet steel to profiling, laser cutting, welding, paint shop, assembly and finally the finished product!
