This programme includes a Mayors roundtable to discuss the enabling role of public transport in the urban agenda. This will feed into the development of the European and the global Urban Agenda – the latter to be agreed next year at the Habitat III Conference. The discussion will be concluded by the release of a Declaration of Mayors on mobility in the urban agenda. Mayors will also take part in the plenary session that will review the progress of the UITP strategy for public transport by 2025.
