For an example, we need only to look to the life of Christ upon earth. Christ endured temptation, suffering, e v e n death because it was God's will that mankind should be given the opportunity to earn salvation. There is no better example of a life of dedication and service. Because Christ did " t a s t e death for every m a n " the pathway to salvation is clearly marked. It is much easier for us to place our trust in God, with the realization t h a t God will not demand of us so greatly.
