Family Meeting TODAY - Sunday, August 28th - After Service Meet in the Confirmation Classroom All families with students in Grades 6, 7, or 8 please meet with Pastor and the other Confirmation leaders in the Confirmation classroom in Holmer Hall (north east corner - the room closest to the parking lot). New information for this year will be presented. We’re all looking forward to the start of another wonderful year of learning. Our Chancel Choir will begin rehearsing on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 pm. If you would like to join us in this ministry at Grace, please let either the office (961-8747) or Tom Tietjen [email protected] know of your interest. We rehearse each Thursday evening from 7-9 PM and sing every Sunday at the 8:30 am service. You do not have to audition for our choir and be able to sight read music. A desire to serve the Lord through music is all we ask of you. Come out and help us “Make a joyful sound to the Lord!” Grace Girlfriends is on the move again. We were scheduled to meet on Sept 11 which is also "God's Work, Our Hands" day. We will meet in Holmer Hall about 12:15 after the 11 AM service. There will be a short meeting, some fantastic food, and then off to any activity for which you had signed up. Dottie and Marcia will stay in Holmer Hall and demonstrate how to crochet mats from plastic bags (which is a project we discussed at our meeting in June). Since the mats take quite a while to make, we will continue working on them during our October and November meetings. As always, please bring an appetizer or a dessert to share. Renovations continue… GRACE FOODIES DINNER: Tuesday, Sept. 20th, 7 P.M. Glory Days Grill – 14457 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Their menu has a little bit of everything for everyone at reasonable prices. This is one of our casual favorites, with both excellent service and food. If you sign up for a loyalty card, points add up quickly for freebies. Glory Days is located on the East side of Dale Mabry right before Sweet Tomatoes with plenty of parking. Everyone is welcome to join us for some Grace fellowship, good food, and fun.
