A diverse mixture of women from around Orange Beach participated in the sessions. City employees, doctors, veterinarians, bankers, retirees and college students all comprised the group. Learning the basics of handgun safety was the priority. This week the members hit the shooting range to practice their skills and fire the live weapons. Great job to the Police Department on their direction and lessons for the women of our community. Left: Kathy Woodard takes aim as Clara Myers studies her hand position.
