We are
our history
What we are today we owe to
the men that believed in Lurisia,
working day by day, to create
our history . The legend says
that the water was discovered
by accident, by one of the
several miners that, in the first
years of the last century, worked
in the zone of Nivolano (today
Lurisia) using a pickaxe against
the rocky wall to loosen up the
stone, the typical local stone used
for building, he accidently hit a
vein of the spring which turned
out to be excellent to drink but
even better to cleanse cuts and
wounds that, nearly by miracle,

healed very fast. The “magic”
qualities of this spring soon became
known further afield, attracting the
attention of a multitude of curious.
Doctors and researchers studied the
characteristics permanently certifying
the water’s medical benefits.
From the investments and
determination of Pietro Cignolini,
David Garbarino and Piero
Sciaccaluga, a doctor and two
farsighted businessmen from Liguria,
in 1940 the Lurisia Spa was
established. Opening to the public
and allowing everyone to benefit
from the wonderful qualities of the
water that was administered in a
practical and scientific manner to
enhance its benefits.
Lurisia became an important
hydrothermal research center
but also a delightful place to
rest and relax, a place chosen
by thousands of people including
some of the most important people
of that time. Only later, with the
decree of the Ministry of Health,
permission was given for the
bottling and sales of the water
therefore sharing the healthy
qualities of the Santa Barbara
spring with everyone.

On the
water’s side.
Always
The uniqueness of Lurisia water
depends mainly on the environment
of the surrounding area and we
are profoundly aware of the tight
connection between the quality of
the water and the well being of
the land. For this reason we take
care of every inch of the nearly
1000 hectares of the mineral land
granted us. From the community of
Lurisia to the top of Monte Pigna,
we are committed to looking
after every inch of our land from
any possible source of pollution,
constantly checking that nothing and
nobody ruins the perfection of this

place. No unpermitted building.
No hydro exploitation. Respect for
native flora and fauna. It is from
our fields and our woods that the
spring begins: through the earth
on which the snow lays, filtering
as it melts, good minerals are
absorbed and the natural elements
in our local town and the area.
Not only environment conservation
therefore but also the capacity to
create growth and prosperity in a
zone that is relatively poor.
It is this strong connection with our
land in which we demonstrate with
pride everything we do: in our
original soft drinks, in our normal
beer and Unico which get their
excellence from the top quality
ingredients supplied by local farmers
in our area that are supported by the
Slow Food Presidium.

connected to us, starting with a
regional tax, which is reinvested

Pure, healthy,
light, perfect
and safe
The Lurisia waters of both the Santa
Barbara and the Pini spring are
pure, healthy, light, perfect and
safe. Pure because they come
from the top of Monte Pigna - at
1416 mt. above sea level - from
an uncontaminated environment,
far from any possible source of
pollution. Healthy because of
Lurisia’s spa water and thanks to its
natural qualities that make it good
for living organisms.
Due to the low sodium content they
are healthy. They are light and the
fixed residue content is amongst
the lowest in Europe. They don’t

weigh on the body or on the
environment.
Water that is so perfect that all we
have to do is bottle it straight from
the source just as it is. All we do is
add a little natural carbon dioxide
to make it fizzy. They are safe
because they are tested several
times a day in our laboratories.

A richness
to preserve.
Responsibly
In 2012 we bottled 60 million
liters of water, equal to the yearly
consumption of 657 people or
the water consumed in just four
hours in the city of Milan and
we don’t waste even a drop.
We are very careful about
recycling, reusing industrial
water several times and for
different things: from rinsing
the bottles to other production
processes. Despite permission

from the provincial authorities to
dispose our waste water we don’t
do it because we decided to make
the most of this precious resource.
So we purify it and reintroduce it to
the hydro cycle. So it isn’t a miracle
just a responsible and conscious
use of its goodness. Everything here
follows the strict policy of saving and
optimizing energy and resources:
from the principle with which we
built our offices to national A class
standards,(optimal energy use) to the
method of shipping and transporting
using truck-sharing and to little things
like using low consumption light bulbs
and stand-by off switches.

Our environmental choices also include
our preference of glass for bottling
because we believe that it is the only
material capable of enhancing the
pureness of our products. Showing
off the best we have, through the best
quality glass, 100% recyclable.
We love glass because its values
correspond to ours: guaranteed
quality, protection of health and
sustainability. It is the only natural
container, infinitely 100% recyclable
and refillable.

Fizzy
in and out
Natural without
giving up style
Stille is our natural water. Made in
two versions Winner and Alu, both
produced with mountain water that is
pure, light and low in sodium coming
from Monte Pigna, at 1460 mt. above
sea level, in an unpolluted area far from
any possible source of contamination.
Winner, dressed in the designer Sottsass
bottle together with the exclusive
Guzzini lid, destined for top restaurants,
is from the Pini spring. The Alu is from
the Santa Barbara spring.
Perfectly colorless with reflections of
the surrounding environment. Perfectly
unscented. A perfectly balanced and
neutral flavor due to the minimum quantity
of minerals present.
Drunk on its own it is an excellent thirstquencher and is suitable to accompany
any meal due to its neutral characteristics.

Bolle or bubbles, as the name suggests,
is infused with carbon dioxide from a
natural layer. The water is the same,
pure and light, (with a fixed residue
amongst the lowest in Europe) and
comes from the Pini and Santa Barbara
springs. Different in their content and
in their container: The bottles of Bolle
Winner, as for the Still version, are the
best of Made in Italy, while the Bolle
Alu bottles follow the footsteps of Still
Alu and in Italy are returnable.
It doesn’t cover or change flavors but
enhances them by leaving the palate
clean.
Both the Still and the Bolle are to be
served in a transparent glass, preferably
with a stem and no ice.

An Energy charge
all “Slow”
The unique aroma of our Chinotto comes from the west side of the
Liguria Riviera where, since 1500, Chinotto trees have grown.
At Savona today, there is the Slow Food Presidium to protect the
precious citrus fruits that give our drink the typical amber taste
that gives off an intense scent.
An intense and vivid color with tones of caramelized Afghan
amber.
A scent of citrus and spices. The carbon dioxide emphasizes the
delicacy and harmony of a particularly complex bouquet: citrus,
herbs, spices and bitter caramel.
The taste is velvety and soft with a noble and harmonious body,
without excessive sweetness.
Drunk on its own it is an excellent thirst-quencher particularly
suitable as an aperitif to accompany savory appetizers or with
a full meal of rich tasting dishes.
Excellent as an ingredient in cocktails in which a bold exotic
taste is desired.
To be served in a glass tumbler, with no added ice or
lemon.

The fresh taste
of the south
The unique taste of our Gazzosa comes from afar, in both
time and distance. The recipe we use is the original one
from the 50’s and the lemons used are Sfusati, cultivated
for more than 300 years on terraces of the Amalfi Coast,
famous for their juicy pulp and semi sweet taste.
It is shiny and crystal clear with a blunt and lively lemon scent.
The intensity is emphasized by the presence of carbon dioxide
which harmonizes and refines the memory of orange blossoms
and lemon zest.
Particularly balanced and full bodied, the long after taste is
accompanied by a gentle acidity which dissolves into a sweet
note.
An intense lemon aroma, long lasting and delicate.
Drunk on its own it is an excellent thirst-quencher but
thanks to the pleasant tone of acidity, it can easily
accompany a plate of raw fish or shellfish.
Excellent also when transformed into sorbet with an
added leaf of mint or sage.
To be served in a round bottom glass, iceless with a
few mint leaves or a licorice stick.

Drink young
like tradition
Our Aranciata is produced with Gargano IGP Slow Food
Presidium oranges that come from one of the most beautiful bays
of the Adriatic sea. Here the oranges mature at the end of winter
acquiring an excellent resistance to oxidation after harvest: thin
peel, firm pulp and sweet juice make for a unique product.
The color is a slightly opaque orange of moderate tones
characterized with interesting iridescence. A fine and persistent
effervescence with an intense, strong, deep and decisive scent
of citrus, Spring flowers and herbaceous essence. The sweetness
alternates in your mouth with a gentle and balanced
acidity, reminding you of the typical sensations of ripe
oranges, an intense and persistent citrus aroma.
Drunk on its own it is an excellent thirst-quencher and
goes well with snacks or used in light and fresh aperitifs.
Excellent also when transformed into sorbet with an
added leaf of Melissa and orange zest.
To be served in a glass tumbler, with a slice of orange
and no ice.

Quenches thirst
brilliantly
Also for our Acqua Tonica the difference is made by the
Slow Food Presidium, the same as our Chinotti from
Savona. The microclimate of the west side of the Liguria
Riviera awards the fruit with an intense scent and an
excellent juiciness. The special dye extracted from the
Chinotti gives the drink a unique flavor, obtaining a
good and thirst- quenching drink.
A clear and brilliant color with a fine and persistent effervescence.
The scent of Chinotto zest with a remarkable frankness and
vivacity gathered in a delicate bouquet. The slight bitter hint is
accompanied and balanced by the light acidity which awards
freshness.
A fine and persistent aroma in which resurfaces the citrus scent
and accompanies a pleasant bitter hint.
Drunk on its own it is an excellent thirst-quencher. Perfect as an
aperitif to accompany savory appetizers or with a meal.
Invented as a base ingredient for cocktails.
To be served in a stem glass, with ice made of still mineral water
and a little lemon zest.

Genuine
like real fruit
The transgressive taste
of Artisan beer
BIRRA
NORMALE
Unico is our latest challenge. It is a healthy and tasty non- alcoholic drink
similar to a fruit juice. In fact it is produced with 100% fruit, all coming
from local Piedmont agriculture: Barbera grapes, apples, pears and
peaches from Piedmont. No added coloring or preservatives, its color
is naturally produced by the fruit and the taste may vary due to the
predominance of one fruit over another. This year is like this, next year
who knows. For this reason it is called Unico.
The color is dense with a predominance of must and warm
shades of a summer sunset.
An intense scent of ripe fruit and fresh herbs.
The first taste is deeply intense and full bodied. The subtleties of
light pulp dissolve almost immediately into freshness and a clean
taste of grape juice makes the drink balanced and harmonious
with a delicate and persistent aroma.
Drunk on its own it is a nutritional thirst-quencher particularly
suitable with snacks.
It can be used as a base ingredient for cocktails both alcoholic
and non.
To be served without ice adding half a strawberry or
raspberry on the side of the glass.
Pour gently and leave to sit for a few seconds,
stir with a wooden spoon before drinking.
A mixture of both the creativity of Teo Musso, an eclectic artisan brewer
and our excellent quality, the beer Normale is produced according to
tradition and only uses selected Italian raw materials: pure water of the
Maritime Alps, barley malt and hops grown in the valleys of Piedmont and
yeast. Delicious because it is unpasteurized, Normale because it has the
flavor of a true homemade beer.
Of a light straw color, with a persistent and compact white
foam, that preserves the fragrance.
The soft carbonation enhances the intense aroma of malt, herbs
and yeast.
Exalting on the tongue a hint of honey, balances well with
the bitter hops giving depth, long lasting taste and a pleasant
herbaceous aftertaste.
Excellent as an aperitif, drunk with a meal or even a pizza.

Finally a beer that celebrates
femininity, made from the
combination of rose buds and water
of exceptional quality fermented
softly and lightly. A sweet beer,
with a low alcohol content and a
harmonious and gentle personality.
Well known and pure ingredients
such as Lurisia water, Italian
barley malt and buckwheat from
the Monregalesi valley, and an
unexpected spice that we keep a
secret.
Lurisia Sei, fermented with wine
yeast, has an unusual and captivating
aroma.
Produced with exclusively local pure
barley malt and without the use of raw
grains, we have added gentian root
for that unexpected bitter hint which
gives a twist of originality to the taste.
As always the balance is due to the
pureness and excellent quality of the
water used in the fermentation phase.
Exalting harmony on the tongue,
enhanced by a soft carbonation; the light
body and low alcohol content makes it
a pleasure to drink.
A beautiful opalescent orange color, with
obvious hints of damp musk, covered by
the intensity of a fruity mixture of peach,
grape, melon and white flowers yet
noticeably spicy.
It has quite a sweet impact on the
tongue, almost like bière blanche, with a
medium body and a long finish.
A slight scent of alcohol is present
together with a fruity and slightly
woody perfume.
A harmonious taste accompanied
by the perfect amount of bubbles;
the slender body makes it a joy to
drink.
It can be enjoyed with anything as
it goes well with both meat and
cheese.
An excellent and original Spring aperitif
or to accompany dessert.

Containing the same well known
and pure ingredients as the “Sei”:
Lurisia water, Italian barley malt,
buckwheat and spices but the
yeast used for fermentation is
different: in this case, a scotch
whisky stock is used giving it that
unique and original taste.
Its alcoholic bouquet is accompanied
by fruity sensations, with woody and
balsamic hints.
A very dry taste and highly fizzy due
to the special yeast used, as well as a
considerable body.
It can be enjoyed at anytime and it
goes well with both meat and mature
cheese.

Lurisia
“Dodici”
It is the first beer for relaxing, to be
sipped and admired. The natural
fermentation and careful oxidation
make it similar to a “passito” (or
raisin) wine, while the infusion of
Lapsang Souchong tea, a special
Chinese smoked tea, combined
with the quality of the Lurisia
water, give it an original aromatic
imprint.
Its prolonged oxidation gives coppercolored chromatic hints. It has a smoky
and Madeira scent and a totally
amazing taste and for a moment you
forget it is a beer; it seems more like a
sweet “passito” wine.
It should be sipped slowly in good
company to fully appreciate the
delicate taste.
