Christian Sympathy… Dr. and Mrs. Shorter, along with the church staff and family, wish
to express sincere sympathy to Mrs. Sherri Stewart and her family in the death of her
brother.
We are thrilled to have you as our guest today! If you are looking for "a family of friends" you'll find them at Mt. Airy. While I
am sorry I missed the opportunity to meet you today, I would
like to personally invite you to try our small group Bible studies. Our BSF, or Bible Study Fellowship classes, meet every
Sunday at 8:30am and 9:45am. We offer classes for all ages,
and would love to have you join us next Sunday. Finally,
please be sure to fill out the guest registration card so that we
can send you some information about our church. I hope to

Welcome Dr. Rudy Gray… Dr. Rudy Gray is our guest speaker today for all services. Dr.
Gray is a former pastor and former President of the SC Baptist Convention. He is currently serving as the editor of The Baptist Courier and is also an adjunct professor at
Anderson University, teaching in the school of Christian studies. Please give Dr. Gray a
warm welcome to Mt. Airy.

Mission Team SE Asia… Please be in prayer for those traveling this week on the exploratory trip to SE Asia. The team returns next Sunday, March 20.
Life Center Volunteer Needed… A volunteer is needed to serve in the Life Center on
Thursday evenings from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. If you can help, please contact Steve

Utah Mission Team Meeting… Please mark your calendars for a "meet and greet" meeting today at 4:45pm in Building A. The purpose of this meeting is for everyone to get to
know one another and learn basic information about the logistics of the trip. Please
continue to be in prayer for the Gore family and our purpose in Utah.
Children’s Choir… Our children's choir will begin its spring session this evening from
6:15pm - 6:55pm in the Choir Room. The choir is open to children in 1st - 5th grade and
runs until May 29th. Contact Dave Storay for more information.

VBS Volunteer Sign Up… We will have a church-wide VBS volunteer sign up this morning
during both services. Please sign up as soon as possible so you can get your first choice
of where to volunteer! Teacher spots, assistants, registration, food crew, penny counters, and nursery workers are all needed. See Karen Hoyt, Jennifer Meaders or Mandy
Gilmore for more information.

Ladies’ Group Meeting... The Margaret Mitchell Group will meet this Wednesday,
March 16, at 11:00am at the home of Miriam Ausburn.

Kidspoint… Attention parents! Kidspoint (grades 1 - 5) will combine on Easter Sunday,
March 27, and meet in Building A at 11:00am. Please make note of this change.

Kids’ Easter Devotional… Parents– please be sure to pick up the Family Easter Devotional available in the Welcome Center and in the Life Center. This is a devotional for the
entire family and begins on Palm Sunday, March 20, and continues through Easter
Sunday. There is also a great tool within the booklet for the Biblical learning levels of
children from preschoolers to preteens. We hope this will be a great resource and addition to your family time during this Easter.

Safety Team… Mt. Airy is in the process of putting together a safety team for church
events. If you are interested in being part of this team, or would like more information,

Ladies’ Simulcast… All ladies are invited to come to a live simulcast with Priscilla Shirer
on Saturday, April 23, from 9:00am until 4:30pm in the Life Center. Doors open at

Baby Dedication Sunday
Anyone who would like to participate in this year’s baby dedication service is asked to complete an information sheet (available in
the Welcome Center) and turn it in (along with pictures) to Lori or
Mandy in the church office no later than April 17th. Please turn
this form in early to guarantee your child will be included in the
baby dedication program. This year’s service will take place on
Sunday, May 8th, during the morning services.
