7th ACNS Education Course & Cadaver course - Advanced approaches to cranium Hosted by: Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), Coventry, UK on behalf of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (ACNS) Aimed at all level trainees, specialist doctors and young neurosurgeons from Asia and Europe (including the UK). FY1, FY2 and medical students interested in neurosurgery are also welcome. University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Faculty: Eminent neurosurgeons from Asia (including Japan, Russia, India, Nepal, Indonesia), Europe (Switzerland, France, Turkey, Cyprus, Spain) and the UK. Venue for lectures: Clinical Sciences Building UHCW, Coventry, UK Venue for cadaver course: West Midlands Surgical Training Centre, UHCW, Coventry, UK Course format: Lectures ‘How to do it’ video sessions Discussion on selected topics Course supported by: Cadaver course: This will cover advanced approaches to cranium taught by the international faculty. Please note only 18 places are available for this. Topics covered: The lecture course will cover key topics in the four main sub-specialisties in neurosurgery: Neuro-vascular Neuro-oncology (including skull base) Neuro-trauma Spine Course information Fees: For trainees for the four day lecture course: £245 inclusive of meals (exclusive of dinner and accommodation) For trainees for the cadaver course: £500 For trainees for the lectures and cadaver course: £700 For medical students (lectures only): £85 inclusive of meals (exclusive of dinner and accommodation) A limited number of Asian trainees will be sponsored by the ACNS for their accommodation and local hospitality.
