Incentives provided on a European, State and regional level
The US and Europe remain each other’s most important economic partner.
US FDI into the EU rose from $61 billion in 2002 to $81 billion in 2003.
Last year, US investors remained the primary source of French FDI and created nearly
one quarter of new FDI-related jobs in France.

“Objective 1 program” is aimed at promoting the development and structural enhancement of regions
that need support. Incentives can reach up to 50% of investment costs.

The US and Europe remain each other’s most important economic partner.
US FDI into the EU rose from $61 billion in 2002 to $81 billion in 2003.
Last year, US investors remained the primary source of French FDI and created nearly
one quarter of new FDI-related jobs in France.
