Testimonials THE BRIDGE PROGRAM for Children and Youth Akane Suzuki, 16y.o., Japan I went to ZONI bridge program in order to go to Canadian high school from a new school term. I was able to take a lesson like a local school in a small number of people class. And ZONI's teacher taught English to me who can not speak English. Therefore, the present school is without difficulty. In addition to this, there is pleasant time to go to the library, park and others. So, I enjoyed to study English at ZONI. I am glad to meet many teachers and the person of various countries. I had very precious experience. Aiko Sakakihara (parent) For my daughter, Yuiko in her nine years old, Zoni language centers in Vancouver was a very first school to learn English. She took a bridge program for ten weeks before transfering from a Japanese school to a Canadian school. When she first came to Vancouver, she only could write her name. She even did not know what people talking about or asking to her. I believe that Yuiko learned the first step of listening, writing, speaking and every single sense of English at Zoni. Now she is going to elementary school in Vancouver. Of course, she still needs lots of efforts but she has no problem of spending time at school. As a parent, I am very thankful for all the people she has met at Zoni. The teachers were experienced, the staffs were friendly and also the other students were all very kind and nice. After a few months Zoni is still one of the places that my child really misses and wants to visit again! www.zoni.com ZONI BLOG www.zoni.com/studentlife Zoni Language Centers 806 Homer Street, Suite 200, Vancouver, BC, Canada V6B 2W5 Tel.: (604) 687-7000 Fax: (604) 684-2823 E-mail: [email protected] Website: www.zoni.com Zoni Language Centers is accredited by Languages Canada (LC) VANCOUVER, CANADA Schooling in Canada: About Zoni Language Center The Bridge Program offers an opportunity for international students to build English language competency, English Academic skills, and acquire knowledge in preparation for bilingual academic success. We also have a referral system in place for graduates of our program – many go on to attend local Vancouver area schools. Some of our international students are here for the cultural experience and to learn more English, with no plans to enroll in a Canadian school. These students also benefit from the rich learning environment and take home many new skills and strategies that will be useful in their own educational path.
