o S h e p Good Shepherd Catholic School Newsletter Thank you to the parents, children and staff who attended Mass on Sunday at St Elizabeth’s Church. The children read beautifully. Year 2 Visit to Selly Manor this week On Monday 28th September Year 2 went on a fantastic trip to Selly Manor to learn all about the Great Fire of London. We learned lots of facts and acted out the events of the fire. We got to dress up as children from the past and explore the Tudor House. It was an excellent day and we were all very well behaved! Lateness causes disruption to the class and embarrassment to the child concerned. Pupils who are late often experience difficulty in taking a full and active part in the first lesson of the day because they have missed the introduction to the lessons. Please try to ensure your child is in school before 8.55am. The school is open from 8.30am and the children are encouraged to arrive from this time. Many class based activities take place during this time which children enjoy being a part of. This also helps them to feel settled for the start of the day. Thank you for your co-operation. Netball On Thursday 1st October we had a Match against St John Fisher the final score was 4-3 to Good Shepherd Well done. Player of the match was Yoel .
