Dinner is served to invited guests at 5 p.m. Presentations begin at 5:30 p.m. 29 Who Shine Monday, May 9 • State House The Massachusetts Department of Higher Education will honor outstanding graduates from the state’s 29 public colleges and universities at a State House ceremony. Paulina Llorente Gonzalez has been selected as MCC’s honoree, based on academic achievement and her record of student leadership. Llorente Gonzalez is one of 29 extraordinarily talented and caring individuals who stand poised to contribute greatly to the civic life and economic well-being of the Commonwealth. All-College Spring Fling 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. • Thursday, May 12 • Cowan Center Dance music, free food, novelties, drumming, cultural events, games, entertainment, prizes and so much more! Honors Night is a celebration that recognizes and rewards our students for their academic achievements and service to the college. The event includes: presentation of academic awards to graduates; College, Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certifications to student leaders; and recognition of students graduating as Commonwealth Honors Program Scholars, Engaged Scholars and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members.
