They went above and beyond to share their faith and
time and talents with the children of St. Bede Parish.

SECOND COLLECTION. St. Bede Parish will
take a second collection next weekend, July 9 &
10 for the MISSIONARY CO-OP. This collection
plays a vital role in worldwide evangelizing mission of
the Church. It directly assists missionaries in efforts
to share the faith in various countries around the world.

two schedules to choose from:

If you are a registered member of St. Bede and
your son/daughter has received First Holy
Communion & at least entering 4th grade, there
are registration forms in the vestibule. Once
completed, bring it back to the Parish office
before your scheduled training.

New Holy Hour with Prayer
Ministry begins Thursday July 14.
Fr. Alex will begin a new faith formation event
on Thursday July 14th. The Holy Hour and
Prayer Ministry is an initiative from the Pastor
to help deepen intimacy with the Lord
Jesus. It will also have a catechetical
component. Below will be the schedule. The
Prayer Ministry will occur two Thursdays of the
Month beginning at 6:30pm.

Requirements for Baptism

Parents must be married in the Catholic Church.
If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must
make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before
they can have their children baptized.
3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of
Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three
sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and
Confirmation).
4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate
from the Church where they were married.
5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may
have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to
come.
6. To have your child baptized, contact Joan at 272-3463
to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.
7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month
after the 10am Mass.

PARISH HALL KITCHEN VOLUNTEER
NEEDED. St. Bede parish needs a
volunteer for the upkeep of the Parish
Hall Kitchen. Duties include: keep the
kitchen sink & refrigerator clean, check
pantry supplies, wash kitchen towels.
Cleaning frequency preferably once a week.

CHOIR DIRECTOR NEEDED .
St. Bede
Catholic Church is seeking a director for the traditional
choir. This part-time position requires applicants to
have experience in vocal development and conducting,
be a practicing Catholic, and be available for the 8am
Sunday Mass and choir practice one night a week,
preferably Thursday. Duties include planning the
liturgy, previewing and purchasing music, and directing
the choir.
