45th Reunion, Class of 1969 - Winthrop Alumni Association
Dear Members of the Class of 1969
Get your hogwashers out…it’s time for our 45th Winthrop reunion! Let’s get together on November 14
and 15 to celebrate our days at Winthrop and reconnect with everyone. Hogwashers, Rah-Rah shoes and
rat caps are not required, but do bring your best recollections of winning Classes Night our senior year,
dead frogs, colored water in the fountain and any other fond memories you have!
Our reunion is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Friday, November 14 at the Shack. Enjoy an Italian meal and
catching up with all your college friends. $20 covers the 45th reunion dinner, payable to Kasey Walther.
After dinner, we’ll gather at our hospitality room at the Holiday Inn. Be sure to bring your own drinks and
a snack to share.
For the remainder of the weekend, return the registration form at the back of this brochure with your fee
of $30, no later than October 1. Included for this price are trolley tours, our class photo and the alumni
awards luncheon on Saturday.
Please note, we’ll meet as a class after lunch on Saturday to begin planning our next reunion (our 50th!)
and to further discuss our class gift. Details for all our events are summarized below. There are many
other activities outlined in this brochure as well.
Please contact your roommates, suitemates and friends to encourage them to be part of this fun weekend!
We hope to see you all there!
