BIG is a Copenhagen and New York based group of architects, designers, builders and
thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and development
since 2005. Currently, BIG is involved in multiple big projects throughout the world - from
the 2 World Trade Center in Manhattan to the Maritime Museum of Denmark in Helsingør.
Now, BIG has specially designed a kitchen for Reform. Still at an affordable price, the
design is characterized by novel features. All handles are made from a material we are
familiar with, just not in relation to our kitchens. They are made of black seat belt fabric,
usually used in cars. Hereby, the kitchen gains a hyper modern quality.
The BIG kitchen is available in white and oak with a composite table top and composite
wash, creating a beautiful holistic feeling. The composite can be substituted with stainless
steel if one seeks a more industrial look. Or they can be combined to produce a third visual
expression.
