Madison Webster
Madison spends the day with her grandparents while her mommy and daddy are
at work. She lives in Colfax, NC and she’s 4 months old.

Favorite community service activity: To make others smile.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Prayed for me during my transition into
this world.

Favorite Scripture/Quote: “This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be


My OR Family would describe me as: A blessing - A heritage from the Lord.

I have held these roles: daughter, granddaughter, niece, baby cousin and friend.

My interest are: cooing, laughing, swimming, singing, listening to music, reading, playing
with my big cousin Nyla, attending The Little Gym and exploring my new environment.
Mason Florence
Mason loves to eat and talk. His favorite movie is - “The Bee Movie”. He knows
how to say “hey there” and “bye - bye”. He is 9 months old.
Chloe Moyer
Chloe attends Love & Learn Home Daycare. She lives in Greensboro, NC and
she is 18 months old.

Favorite community service activity: Loves to smile and speak. She loves
praise & worship and after a few songs she loves to take a nap.

My OR family would describe me as: Happy & loveable. She
loves to smile and never meets a stranger. Chloe is walking
(running) and talking all the time. Her favorite word is ”JD” who is her big
brother that she loves more than anything. She loves to play outside and
can sing the ABC song and count to 4.

My interest are: Music and baby dolls.
Makinzie Moore-Gaskins
Makinzie attends Pre-K at Primrose Preschool of Kernersville. She also lives
in Kernersville, NC.

Favorite community service activity: Helping others and giving them guid-
ance.




My OR Family would describe me as: Little Mike because I look like
my papi - Mike Weaver.

I have held these roles: Princess Makinzie, Papi’s baby, Lil’ Diva

My interest are: gymnastics, dance, swimming, singing and piano.
Carter Gay
Carter attends Pre-K at Kids R Kids. He lives in Summerfield, NC

Favorite community service activity: Helping with the Men’s Ministry when
we cleaned the Church last month. I also had a lot of fun when the Men’s Ministry held the Pastor’s Appreciation event at Spare Time. It was a lot of fun
to bowl.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Surrounds me with lots of love and sup-
port.



My OR Family would describe me as: energetic, happy, and a budding artist.

I have held these roles: Attend the Church nursery that I talk about all
the time, Member of Youth Ministry and I was student of the month at
my school in July.
Landon Ryan Clark
Landon attends Kindergarten at IHM-Eagles Nest. He live in Colfax, NC.
Favorite community service activity: My class and I volunteered at the Presbyterian Home. We joined the Seniors to sing songs and give them plenty of
hugs. I helped with “Out of the Garden Program” and participated in the
Greensboro Crop Walk.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Gives me hugs and the fun things they do
for the kids.



My OR Family would describe me as: Totally smart, cool, handsome, and pretty awesome.

My interest are: I like to travel, play sports, build legos and being
with my family and friends.
I have held these roles: Since last year, I have
learned so much. I earned my wings at graduation. My
teachers told me that I was ready to fly and be great as
I enter into a new School and kindergarten. I also completed the Safety Town Program.


Ashlynn Leigh Dalton
Ashlynn attends Kindergarten at Stokesdale Elementary. She Lives in Kernersville,
NC
 She played Soccer for Stokesdale Parks and Recreation and participated in the
C. LaRue Little Hoopers Academy.
 She attended the Nursery.
 Favorite Scripture/Quote: The Lord’s Prayer.
 She likes playing with her friends and being a good big sister.
Jayden Moyer
Jayden attends 1st grade at General Greene Elementary Magnet School. He lives
in Greensboro, NC.

Favorite community service activity: He helps serve the homeless.

Jayden loves math. He can add, subtract and multiply. He loves to read. This year
at camp Jayden explored Science and loves to do experiments. He also started eating healthier snacks and drinking more water due to the fit camp he attended.

Favorite song: “Clean this House” by Isaac Carree.

My OR Family would describe me as: Shy at first, but once he warms up to you he is ok. Jayden is
known for taking care of Chloe.

I have held these roles: I sing in the Youth Choir and I participate in the B2B Ministry.

My interest are: I play soccer and basketball. I also enjoy playing video games and
working on the computer. I spend a lot of time helping my baby sister,
Nyla Moss
Nyla attends 1st grade at Triangle Lake Montessori School. She lives in High
Point, NC.
Favorite community service activity: Giving my clothes I have out grown to

some other child that may not have. I like helping feed homeless families at the
Church Under the Bridge. Both of these activities help me to count my blessings each day.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Congratulates me on things I have done
well and gives me hugs on Sunday mornings.


I have held these roles: Member of Youth Ensemble, Jubilation Dancers, Daisy, Church
School attendee, Level 1 gymnast @ High Point Gymnastic Academy, Dancer @ On Stage
School of Dance and Basketball player with Upward Sports.

My interest are: Dancing, running, singing and playing with my friends and
baby cousin.

My accomplishments are: I completed and mastered all Kindergarten, 1st
grade and 2nd grade sight words. I scored several points in my 1st year of
basketball.
Brayden Gatling
Brayden attends 1st grade at Triangle Montessori School. He lives in High
Point, NC.
Favorite community service activity: Making crafts for others, giving away
toys and serving food to the homeless.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Supports me in activities, encourages me
to do my very best and be there when I need them.


Herbert McNeal
Herbert attends 3rd grade at College Prep Academy in
High Point. He lives in Summerfield, NC.

My accomplishments are: Straight “A” student last
year. Star player in football, track, baseball and soccer.

My interest are: Computer and Photography.
Chase Templeton
Chase attends 3rd grade at James Joyner Elementary School. He lives in
Greensboro, NC.
Favorite Prayer: God is great and God is good. Let us thank Him

for our food. Bow our heads must we be fed, give us Lord our daily

Nik Parker
Nik attends 3rd grade at Pearce Elementary. He lives in Greensboro, NC.

He loves Math, played Soccer and went to Carowinds over the summer.


Collin Graham
Collin attends 3rd grade at Pearce Elementary. He lives in Greensboro, NC.
Favorite community service activity: Volunteering to feed at the homeless
shelter, helping his mom, grandfather, great grandmother and service project
with Cub Scouts.

I have held these roles: Current Wolf Cub Scout, attend 3 camps at Natural
Science Center including Rockets where I built my own. Played basketball
2014-2015 and started Tae Kwon Do this month.

My interest are: Video games, biking, swimming, building forts, dogs, playing with my friends
and cousins, visiting places, camping, hiking, collecting sand dollars, skateboarding, geocatching, boogie boarding and eating.
Langston Wood
Langston attends 4th grade at Summerfield Elementary. He lives in Summer
field, NC.
 He loves Football, Basketball and Swimming.

Hayden and Noelle Millner
Hayden & Noelle attend 4th grade at Canterbury School. They live in Greensboro, NC.

We have held these roles: Choir, Jubilation Praise Dancers,
Junior Girl Scouts.

Our accomplishments are: Gymnastics, 1st Senior Black Belt
Tae Kwon Do & Junior Instructors for Tae Kwon Do.
Damani Whitehead
Damani attends 5th grade at Triangle Lake Montessori Elementary. She lives in
High Point, NC.

My accomplishments are: Maintained A/B average, received the class “Responsibility
Award”. Stared as “Glenda” in the school performance “The Wizard of Oz”. Participated in
academic gifted classes, Selected for All County Chorus. I competed on Ultimate Air Tumbling and Trampoline Team and placed 2nd in the state in tumbling. I volunteer for “Out of
the Garden”.

I have held these roles: Secretary of the OR Youth Ensemble.

My interest are; Gymnastics, singing, listening to music and shopping.
Isaiah Keyes
Isaiah attends 5th grade at Joyner Elementary. He lives in Greensboro, NC.

Favorite community service activity: Boyscott-Xmas caroling at Senior
Citizens Center.
Appreciates when my OR Family: Provides special events like learning about the Taberna-

cle at VBS and celebrating Halloween.


Lillian McNeal
Lillian attends 6th grade at College Prep Academy of High Point. She lives in
Summerfield, NC.

My accomplishments are: I was the 5th grade valedictorian.

My interest are: I love African dance, tennis and swimming.

I also participated in UNC-G IT camp for girls this summer.
Brenton Herbin
Brenton attends 6th grade at Southeast Middle School. He lives in Kernersville, NC.

My interest are: Loves to read funny books, watch scary movies and pond
fish. Went to Carowinds this summer. He also played Soccer and Baseball.

I have held these roles: Youth Ensemble and Usher.
Chase Alexandria Clark
Chase attends 6th grade at Southwest Middle School. She lives in Colfax, NC.
Favorite community service activity: I love to volunteer. I have had the

honor to serve with Mrs. Phillips at the Stop Hunger Now Organization. I also
have helped with Make-A-Wish, Horse Power, Out of the Garden, UNC-G Duck
Lab and also due to your support with Chases’ Chance (my aluminum can recycling program) we were able to sponsor (2) student field trip cost.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Supports me. They are always loving and willing to help
with my endeavors.


My interest are: Traveling, drawing, writing original stories, being goofy and
watching movies and most of all I LOVE HELPING OTHERS.
Kayia Morrow
Kayia attends 6th grade at Phoenix Academy . She lives in Greensboro, NC.
Favorite community service activity: Packing snack bags for the “Church
Under the Bride”.


I have held these roles: I was on the A/B honor roll for all 4 quarters. I sang in the end of
the year talent show. Toured the Burea of Engraving and Painting.
(place where all US money is made) I have been members of Girl Scouts,
Jubilation Praise Dancers and the Youth Ensemble.

My interest are: Making hair bows, dancing singing and cooking with my
grandma Minnie.
Chase Graham
Chase attends 7th grade at Kernodle Middle School. He lives in Greensboro, NC.
Favorite community service activity: Volunteering to feed at the homeless


earned both ranks by Oct. 2015. Earned 4 merit badges from attending Merit Badge Academics. Attended 3 camps at Natural Science Center including Robotics where I built my
own robot. I played 2 seasons of Basketball 2014-2015 year.

My interest are: Airsoft, video games, biking, swimming, building forts, dogs, playing with
my friends and cousins, visiting historical sites, camping, hiking, playing with
smaller kids, boogie boarding, collecting sand dollars, skateboarding, geocatching and eating.
Kylan Parker
Kylan attends 7th grade at Kernodle Middle School. He lives in Greensboro, NC.

He caught a BIG BASS this summer and also went to Carowinds.

My interest are: I love to read all of the saga “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”
Kenneth Gay, III
Kenneth attends 7th grade at Infinite Choices Academy. He lives in Summerfield,
NC.

Favorite community service activity: I recently assisted the Missionary Min-
istry with feeding the homeless at the YWCA in Greensboro and I truly enjoyed
myself. I also helped clean around the Church with the Laymen League.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Shows me love and gives me encouragement constantly.

Favorite Scripture/Quote: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

My OR Family would describe me as: Energetic, enthusiastic, and a hard worker.

I have held these roles: I am a member of the Youth Ensemble, Youth Ministry and soon to be a member of the Usher Ministry.

My interest are: Basketball and music. My team won 2nd place in the basketball tournament at Proehlific Park. I am a budding musician as I am learing to
play the bass guitar while mastering the drums.
Hannah Baker
Hannah attends 8th grade at Northwest Middle School. She lives in Oak Ridge,
NC.
Hannah was home schooled last year at Baker Academy of Excellence for 7th
grade and excelled tremendously. She made great strides in Math and Science.
Hannah focused her year spiritually on devotion and leading and recognizing the
importance of prayer.

Favorite community service activity: She was a volunteer for the Each Child Counts Foundation where she participated in two 5k walk preparations and played piano for 2 concerts.
She also was featured on the Foundation’s public service announcement for TV and Radio.

I have held these roles: I participated in the Sister2Sister Ministry last year and learned a
lot about civil rights.

My interest are: I played basketball last year for the GC Heat. I was chosen as most valuable player as she was the highest scorer for the year and led in
most of the other stats.
Erin James
Erin attends 8th grade at Northwest Guilford Middle School. She lives in
Greensboro, NC.

Favorite community service activity: Volunteering at “Out of the Gar-
den”.

Appreciates when my OR Family: prays for me, welcomes me teaches me
more about God’s word and being a faithful Christian.


My OR Family would describe me as: Shy and quiet.

I have accomplished and participated in these things: Maintained a 4.0 average and recognized for having the highest Science average in the 8th grade. Student Council Class representative, represented Northwest Guilford Middle at a Guilford County Board of Education meeting to recognize a 3rd place Battle of the Books finish in Guilford County.

I have held these roles: Sister2Sister, OR Usher Ministry.

My interest are: Drawing, reading, writing and baking.
Kennedy Jeffers
Kennedy attends 8th grade at Summerfield Chartered Academy. She lives
in Kernersville, NC.
 I have accomplished the following: 2nd place in Science Fair, A/B honor
roll for the last 4 years.
 I have held these roles: Member of Youth Ensemble, Ushers and Sis-
ter2Sister Ministry.
Olivia Siddle
Olivia attends 8th grade at Flat Rock Middle School. She lives in Winston
Salem, NC.


My interest are: She loves to play soccer and scored most goals on the Flat
Rock Middle School Team.
Coleman Wood
Coleman attends 8th grade at Northern Guilford Middle School. He lives in Summerfield, NC.


My interest are: Loves basketball, track, swimming and band.

Jailen Lewis Robinson
Jailen attends 9th grade at Walter Hines Page High School. He lives in
Greensboro, NC.
 I have accomplished these things: President’s Education Award for Out
standing Academic Achievement, Certificate of Achievement for Top Reading Count, Certificate of Character for 9 books read each
quarter, Certificate of Attendance (4th quarter perfect attendance), Perfect
attendance for 2014-2015 year and completed requirements for 8th grade at
Aycock Middle School.
Cameron Siddle
Cameron attends 9th grade at Southwest Guilford High School. He lives in Colfax, NC.

Favorite community service activity: Tutoring, donating clothes to the needy
and helping others.

Appreciates when my OR Family: fellowships together, when we have
Brother2Brother outings (ie: baseball games and fishing)


My interest are: Soccer, football, basketball, computers, movies, reading, math, spending time with my family and friends and going to the beach.
Christian Herbin
Christian attends 10th grade at Glenn High School. He lives in Kernersville, NC.

I have held these roles: Finished last year with a 3.45 GPA and made Honor
Roll.. Played Football, Basketball and ran Track. Received Varsity letters in Football and Track. Played JV Basketball.
Nehemiah Baker
Nehemiah attends 10th grade at Northwest Guilford High School. He lives in
Oak Ridge, NC.

Nehemiah had an extremely successful 9th grade year of home schooling at
Baker Academy of Excellence. He had a very successful year spiritually as he
increased his Bible knowledge through consistent study. He focused on leading
devotion time at home and gaining a deeper insight into New Testament chronology.

Favorite community service activity: He is excited to be working as a
volunteer for Each Child Counts Foundation to make a difference in the
lives of Liberian children.

My interest are: He excelled at level 9 gymnastics and made nationals
where he was able to make it through the preliminary round to the 2nd
day of competition. As a level 10 gymnast this year, he has set a goal of medaling at nationals.
Moses Kamara
Moses attends 10th grade at Dudley Academy. He lives in Greensboro, NC.

I have accomplished these things: Completed my 1st year at
Dudley Academy participating in Varsity Debate, Poetry Club and
was also 1 of 2 Freshman Ambassadors. I also ranked in the top 2%
of his class and scored a 3 on my 1st AP exam (World History) as a
freshman.
Camille Siddle
Camille attends 11th grade at West Forsyth High School. She lives in Winston
Salem, NC.

Favorite Scripture/Quote: “I can do all things through Christ who strength-
ens me”. Philippians 4:13.

My interest are: Soccer and Softball
AJ Allen
AJ attends 11th grade at Southwest High School in High Point. He lives in
Jamestown, NC.
 I have accomplished these things: I passed my sophomore year with good
grades. During that year I participated on the JV & Varsity football teams.
The spring of 2015 I participated on the varsity baseball team as a 1st year
starter. During the summer of 2015 I participated on the North Carolina
Batting Academy Golden Spikes (NCBA Spikes) 2017 prospect team. I have played at most
colleges in NC. One of my biggest tournaments was held in East Cobb, Georgia. The past 2
years my team didn’t do too well, but this past year we made the playoffs. In that tournament there were teams from all aver the nation and I played against some of
the future MLB players.

Favorite community service activity: Volunteered at Grace Church and
served dinner to the less fortunate. I also volunteered with JDRF Piedmont
Triad Chapter assisting them in their efforts of finding a cure.
Chandler Person
Chandler attends 12th grade at Northwest Guilford High School. He lives in Oak
Ridge, NC.

Favorite community service activity: The “Out of the Garden Project” in
Greensboro. We pack bags for families who are less fortunate than others. This
service learning shows how blessed I am everyday.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Is supportive of me in everything I do, and
teaching me God’s word.

Favorite Scripture/Quote: “God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but power, and of
love, and a sound mind”. 2 Timothy 1:7. I use this scripture throughout my daily life and it
comforts me in knowing that I am a conqueror in all things.

My OR Family would describe me as: Reserved

I have held these roles: Youth Choir President, member of Usher Ministry and working
at Lowes Foods in Oak Ridge, NC.

My interest are: Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Video Games, and Netflix.
Justin Siddle
Justin is a Freshman at Forsyth Technical Community College. His major is
Broadcasting/Production. He lives in Winston Salem, NC.



My interest are: Soccer, Baseball, Basketball.

Ayanna Antoine
Ayanna is a Sophomore at North Carolina A&T State University. Her major is
Public Relations. She lives in Greensboro, NC.
Recently she attended the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education in Northwest Washington, DC. She stated a new job as a
Play and Learn Specialist at the Greensboro Children's Museum and began her
work as a Campus Life Mentor. In addition, she was extended an invitation to be
a part of the Aggie Mentoring Program which helps provide freshman and transfer students
with a smooth transition to A&T.

Appreciates when my OR Family: Offers helpful advice, keeps me encouraged and reaches
out to me when help is needed to complete tasks.


My OR Family would describe me as: Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and always up for a
challenge.

I have held these roles: Campus Life Mentor, Ladies of Excellence, Public
Relations Student Society of America, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society,
NCA&T Honors Program, OR Sound Ministry, OR Youth Ensemble.

My interest are: Learning more about my field, spending time with family
and friends, baking eating and traveling.

Andrea Gilliard
Andrea is a Senior at North Carolina A&T State University. She lives in

can do as well as supporting me in all my endeavors.


My OR Family would describe me as: A dedicated leader and a strong young woman of God.

I have held these roles: I completed my Junior year at A&T. I have been
promoted from a cashier to the Core Representative at Petsmart and I am
now the Assistant Director of the Jubilation Dance Ensemble.

My interest are: Helping others as well as animals. Dancing and spending
time with my family and my 1 year old pet lizard Carlos.

The GCS Homework Hotline provides homework assistance by telephone for kindergarten through 12th grade students four
days per week from August through May. There is no charge for the service and calls are toll-free from all parts of
Guilford County. All calls are confidential and answered by certified GCS teachers. The hours are from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday (except on Holidays and Teacher Workdays).

Rockingham County Schools’ Homework Assistance Line (“HAL”) is served by licensed teachers for students in grades K-12.
Students or parents may call and have a teacher help them work out problems or explain assignments in core and advanced
subject areas.
Days / Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, beginning in September after Labor Day and ending one week before End-of-Grade
Tests.
The Homework Assistance Line is closed every teacher workday, holiday, day before a holiday and when schools are closed
or released early due to bad weather.
