Lawson has developed DVDs about using Photoshop to creatively edit photographs and/or convert them to fine art portraits. in conjunction with her exhibit, Lawson will offer a hands-on workshop, “Portrait Impact,” July 16 from 1-6 p.m. $200 (includes DVD and Lawson’s Kodak Grand Prize-winning book Simple Wisdom which showcases her portraits and thoughts). Elizabeth Cantile, Arts in Education Coordinator from the Virginia Commission for the Arts, will discuss how Western culture has been heavily influenced by Greco-Roman civilization.
