onto S Kirkman Rd (SR 435S) Go 6/10’’s of a mile. Turn Right on International Dr. Go 7/10’s

NON-REGULAR CLASSES: Multiple Dog Entries
Stud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dogs & two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog
Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be
owner of the Get. Get MUST be entered in one of the Regular Classes. Get only to be judged based on
the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the
entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed.
Brood Bitch Class - Same as Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for
Get. Produce MUST be entered in one of the Regular Classes.
As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes is based on the merits of more than one
dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible
for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class.
Brace - This class shall be for two Silky Terrier, irrespective of sex, similar in appearance, performing in
unison with at least one common owner and presented in the ring with no more than two handlers. The
dogs comprising the Brace must be named at the time of the entry. Entry forms must be submitted for
each dog and submitted to the Show Secretary at one time. The entry fee is $12.00 for the pair, if this is
the only class in which they are entered. Specify “Brace Only” in the space for “Dog Show Class”. If a dog
that is part of a Brace is entered in a regular class, specify “Brace Class” in the “Additional Classes”. If
more than one Brace is entered by the same owner(s) the dogs comprising one Brace must be designated - “Brace No1", “Brace No2" etc.
Team - Same as Brace except substitute four for two. All dogs entered in Team Class MUST also be
entered in a Regular Classes or for Best of Breed. There will be no additional fee for Team Classes if
more than one Team is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising each team must be so designated.; “Team No1”, “Team No2”, etc.

Novice Junior Class: For Boys & Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of the show, who
at the time entries close, have not won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
Novice Intermediate Class: For Boys & Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on the day of the
show, who at the time entries close, have not won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or
member show.
Novice Senior Class: For Boys & Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show, who
at the time entries close, have not won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
Open Junior Class: For Boys & Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of the show, who at
the time entries close, have won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with
competition.
Open Intermediate Class: For Boys & Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on the day of the
show, who at the time entries close, have won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition.

Open Senior Class: For Boys & Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show, who
at the time entries close, have won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show,
with competition.
MASTER CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years and under 18 years old on the day of the
show and who, at the time entries close, have won ten First Places, with competition present, in an
Open Class at a licensed or member show. The calendar for this class will be November 1 - October 31
of the following year. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master
Class and may change their entry without charge, the day of the show if entries have already closed.
Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to
compete for the following year
Sweepstakes
The Sweepstakes is open to all owners of Silky Terriers 6 months and under 18 months of age on
the day of the show. Champions of Record are NOT eligible for Sweepstakes. Indicate
Sweepstakes in the space provided for “Additional Classes”. All entries must be entered in a
regular class. Entry fee is $15.00.
SWEEPSTAKES CLASSES: (Same classes for Bitches)

The entire amount of monies received from Entry Fees in Sweepstakes, less 35% for expenses,
will be divided in each class as follows:

The Sweepstakes is open to all owners of Silky Terriers 7 years & over on the day of the show.
Dogs entered in Veteran Sweepstakes do not have to be entered in a Regular Class. Neutered
dogs & spayed bitches may be entered. Indicate Sweepstakes in the space provided for
“Additional Classes”. All entries must be entered in a regular class. Entry fee is $15.00.

Mail Entries with Fees: Susan Gordon - 9122 Trevarthon, Orlando, FL 32817. Make all checks &
money orders payable to: Silky Terrier Club of Central Florida (STCCF)
Fax Entries: 877-667-4304. Both sides of the entry form must be faxed. Visa/Master Card number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder's name must be included. Fax entries
must be received by the closing hour and date. Fax fee: $4.00 per entry in addition to entry fee.
On-Line Entries can be taken at www.gordonshowsec.info On-Line Fee: $4.00 per entry in addition to entry fee.
Telephone, telegraph and unsigned entries CANNOT be accepted.
Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred. Canadian exhibitors must make fees payable in US funds.
Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of the entry without the Agreement
and Rules from the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Errors on Entry Blanks: Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever
may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of
entries after the published closing date.
A recording fee of 50 cents and an event fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at
any licensed or Member Club, Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. This fee is to be collected
by the Show-giving Club and paid to AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show,
the fee is collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2)
All dogs must be held on leash except when in the exercise area or crated.
Grooming is indoors. Exhibitors are responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates
and grooming areas.
Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class.
No entry shall be made or accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of
internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
Judging schedule and map to the show site will be mailed as soon as possible after the closing of
entries.
If an entry in the regular puppy classes is awarded Best of Breed or Best of Winners it will automatically be Best Puppy.
There will be a holding area set up outside of each ring that can be utilized during your judging.
