AIRDRIE Location The City of Airdrie is situated on Highway 2 (CANAMEX Corridor linking Canada, the U.S. and Mexico), 20 minutes north of downtown Calgary, with 15 minute access to both the Calgary International Airport and Highway 1 (TransCanada). The City also has 5 minute access to the recently completed northern portion of the Stoney Trail Ring Road that will eventually loop north/south around the east side of Calgary.
