55 Plus Games Events: Cycling
The countdown continues folks. Only thirteen weeks until
Airdrie hosts the Alberta 55 plus games.I chose a short event
to cover this week, so that I can talk about a cool fundraiser
for the games.
Cycling – I’m sure this one is fairly self explanatory.
Participants ride bicycles in timed events of either 10 kms or
20 kms.
Now let’s talk about the “AirdriE-bay” online silent auction
being held by the Airdrie 55 Games committee. There are numerous goods and services available to bid on, with all of the
proceeds going to the hosting of the games. To view all of the
items, simply visit www.airdrie55games.com . Bidding closes
April 30th, so check back often to make sure you haven’t been
outbid. There are some great deals to be had from some great
local businesses.
