The District elected to replace the roof and HVAC systems in the kindergarten classrooms in addition to the multipurpose room and classrooms 13‐17. Per the District’s direction, funds from the deferred maintenance budget will be repurposed for the replacement of the roof and HVAC systems in the kindergarten classrooms
ƒ
Projects and budget for the summer 2012 construction program were approved by the Board in April
ƒ
Meetings were held with Schaefer ES and Olivet ES principals to discuss safety plans, logistics, fencing locations, and summer construction schedules for each site
ƒ
Bid walks and final bids were completed in May and contracts were prepared for Board approval
ƒ
The environmental review process was initiated for the construction of three water wells at Olivet ES
