rolling parkland beckon, the winding drive brings you to its
centre to discover the restored Walled Gardens - its truly
romantic Glasshouse surrounded by the maze and the
dramatic Pavilion overlooked by beautiful trees.

Your Perfect Ceremony
The Glasshouse, originally built in Edwardian times and restored in 2007,
is set in the heart of the world’s only fruit tree maze. Whether playing
host to smaller intimate ceremonies or larger celebrations, in winter,
spring, summer and autumn, indoors or outside, you will discover a unique
and magical setting for your civil ceremony. It is also ideal for multi-faith
wedding celebrations.
The unusual fan-shaped structure with 180˚ views of the maze is light
and airy, with furniture, silk floral decorations and a music sound system
provided for your indoor wedding ceremony. The Glasshouse can seat up
to 120 guests.
Outdoor weddings are conducted in the heart of the maze itself,
surrounded by espaliered fruit trees (between April & October- weather
permitting). Nature’s palette changes with the seasons and the gardens
and natural surroundings are a photographer’s dream.
Our magnificent oak framed Arbour located within the Pavilion Walled
Garden is also licenced for smaller ceremonies between April and
October, weather permitting.

Your Perfect
Reception
The Walled Garden Pavilion set in its own
beautiful private garden of almost 2 acres, a few
steps away from The Glasshouse is perfect for
a reception/wedding breakfast for up to 150
guests.
Step onto an al fresco terrace area and into
a stylish reception space with neutral décor,
comfortable lounge seating and contemporary
bar leading into a spacious dining area. Behind
the reveal, the classic white dance floor glitters
under the magnificent starlit ceiling.
The Pavilion is available from 1st March- 31st
December each year. Fully lined in white
with both ceiling chandeliers and floor level
uplighting, indoor cloakrooms and catering
facilities.
The Glasshouse can accommodate up to 60
guests for a smaller intimate wedding breakfast
during the months of January & February and
on Monday-Thursday dates from 1st March30th December.

Our nine 5* self-catering holiday cottages are beautifully

breakfast hampers, crammed with local farm produce and
preserves and juices made from the Combermere Abbey’s
own fruit.

The cottage courtyard offers a fantastic area for outdoor

‘Beckett Cottage’ can accommodate all 49 guests within the

Stone Lodge - The Bridal Suite
Stone Lodge- a completely private and romantic Gothic hideaway can be booked
for the bridal couple’s first night.
Your very own personal retreat situated at the grand entrance of the
Combermere Estate. Gaze out over rolling countryside and ancient woodland
across the terrace and garden with its own damson orchard.
Special touches for the bridal couple include the use of fluffy robes and slippers,
our gift of a luxury organic pamper kit and a Champagne breakfast hamper.

The Glasshouse at the apex of the Walled Gardens can
accommodate 120 guest’s theatre style and 60 guest’s
banquet style. The Glasshouse offers a fully equipped
catering kitchen and private cloakrooms making this
the ideal space for team building events/meetings and
private dinners.
Our tenth cottage, Stone Lodge, nestles on the
perimeter of the estate and has its own private
entrance, car park, spacious terrace and damson
orchard.
The Walled Garden Pavilion provides the ultimate space
for larger delegate numbers and can accommodate 200
guests theatre style and 160 guests banquet style.
To enhance your stay a choice of breakfast
hampers, freezer foods and wine are available.
