Suspects sought in swarming
investigation
The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking
the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in a April
swarming of four people.
On April 15, 2016, at approximately 11:25 pm, four persons,
three females and a male, encountered a large group of males
and females, perhaps 10 or more, in the area of
Iris/Woodroffe. The victims were assaulted and had varying
property taken, such as phones and wallets/handbags. A stolen
wallet and some contents were found along Iris near the
Transitway. A stolen cell phone was also recovered a short
time later onboard an OC Transpo bus at Lincoln Fields
station. Three of the victims were transported to hospital for
assessment, treatment, and were released.
Approximately 30 minutes after the robbery, a pre-paid card
stolen during the course of the robbery was used at a
convenience store situated on Rideau Street. The card was used
by a male to make a purchase at this location. This male is
being sought in connection with this investigation.
The male is described as being a black male, approx. 18 years
of age, wearing a beige hooded jacket, and carrying a grey
backpack (images attached.)

Ottawa: Seeking Identity of
Suspects
Involved
in
an
Unprovoked Attack
On Wednesday May 4 t h 2016 at approximately 11:00pm three
suspects were involved in a physical confrontation in front of
312 Cumberland Street.
The three males engaged in an unprovoked attack on another
male and female. Both victims required medical attention for
facial injuries sustained from the attack. The parties are
unknown to each other. The three suspects were last seen
fleeing on foot westbound on Clarence Street. Please view the

identify two suspects for an
assault on Wiggins Private
UPDATE: MALE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED.
The Ottawa Police Service Central Neighbourhood Office and
Crime Stoppers are looking to identify two male suspects
involved in an assault with a weapon in the 300 block of
Wiggins Private.
On Sunday, May 8th, 2016 at approximately 10:15am, two suspects
assaulted a male at the entrance of a building. There were no
serious injuries reported.
Suspect one is described as a dark-skinned male, thin build,
black puffy hair. He has a thin chin strap beard and
moustache. He was wearing a long chain, black t-shirt, black
pants and black running shoes (see pictures.)
Suspect two is described as a dark-skinned male, thin build
with short black hair. He was wearing a black shirt jacket
style, white t-shirt, black pants and black shoes (see
pictures.)

Ottawa: Unprovoked Attack at
Downtown Restaurant
On Saturday January 30 t h 2016 at approximately 3:00am an
unidentified male entered a fast food restaurant located in
300 block of Bank Street and physically assaulted an employee.
The suspect was described as being very agitated upon entering
the premises and quickly engaged in an unprovoked attack on
the victim. The victim was treated by paramedic for his
injuries. The suspect was accompanied with another male at the

Theft

Women’s
On Saturday January 23 rd 2016 an unknown suspect attended a
pharmacy in the South end of Ottawa, and stole a bottle of
women’s perfume valued $92.
The suspect concealed the item then exited the store without
making any attempt and was approached by store security once
outside. The suspect resisted arrest and assaulted the
security officer before fleeing the scene on foot.

Ottawa: Arrest Warrant Issued
for Christopher JACKO
UPDATE: SUSPECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED
The Ottawa Police Service Central Division Investigation Unit
and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in
locating suspect Christopher JACKO 25 years old for a stabbing
on February 22nd 2016 in the 200 block of Bank Street.
At approximately 5:45pm the suspect attended the commercial
premises and engaged an employee in a conversation that
quickly escalated to a physical confrontation that resulted in
the victim being stabbed.
Christopher JACKO is 25 years old, approx 5’11” (180cm), 190
lbs, slim build, missing or irregular front teeth. He is
considered armed and dangerous. Please do not approach him,
contact police.

Ottawa: Couple Assaulted for
Asking Suspect to Butt Out
On Saturday October 17 th 2015 at approximately 1:30am four
unknown males assaulted a couple who were waiting for a cab in
the 100 block of Maclaren St.
The couple had been waiting inside the vestibule (lobby) of an
apartment building when one of the suspects entered the
building and started smoking inside and was politely asked not
to. The situation quickly escalated to a physical attack on

Ottawa: Student Assaulted on
Campus
On Monday February 8th at approximately 1:30pm an unidentified
male assaulted the victim near C building of Algonquin
College.
The suspect followed the victim for a short period going
through campus before finally grabbing the victim’s arm and
delivering a punch to the face. Please view the attached

UPDATE: SUSPECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED
UPDATE: A warrant is being sought by police for the arrest of
Devin HUFF 18 years old. He faces a number of charges in
relation to the incident.

“Suspect Sought for Macing Another Bus Passenger”
Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance with the
identity of a male who maced another passenger on OC Transpo
bus (#96) after a verbal altercation.
The incident occurred today at 12:39 p.m., on Slater Street
near the intersection of Bank Street.
The alleged suspect sprayed the victim in the face; he then
fled the bus accompanied with a woman. During this incident,
other uninvolved passengers were also affected by the spray.
Victims were treated on scene, but none were transported to
hospital.
Police are looking for witnesses that may have observed the
incident or anyone that has information relating to the
suspect or the woman.

Ottawa: Assault on Clarence
Street
The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the
public’s assistance with the identity of a male involved in an
assault that took place in the 100 block of Clarence Street on
December 24, 2015 at approximately 2:45am.
A 23 year old male victim was punched in the face by another
male. The victim suffered serious injuries and he attended a
local hospital. The male suspect left the scene prior to
police arrival. The incident took place inside a commercial
establishment.

He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 35 years
old, 5’10” (178 cm), 190 lbs (86kg). He spoke in English.
