Ottawa:Two male suspects of gas station robbery on Baseline Road to be identified The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance with the identity of suspects involved in a robbery of an employee of a gas station on Baseline Road. On February 14, 2015, at approximately 9:30pm, two male suspects, both disguised, entered a gas station kiosk located in the 2500 block of Baseline Road near Pinecrest Avenue. Both suspects carried knives and one suspect pointed a knife at the employee. The suspects obtained a quantity of cigarettes and fled the premises. The two suspects were last seen on foot at the rear of 1310 Pinecrest Avenue. There were no injuries. In the days that followed the robbery, the suspects may have been selling lower-priced packages of cigarettes. The suspects are described as follows (images attached): Suspect #1: Caucasian male, average build, approximately 6’0” (183cm). He was wearing a tan or yellow button up coat, a black “hoodie” underneath, grey track pants and brown boots. He had a black and white bandana covering his face, along with sunglasses. He wore grey gloves with dark grey stripes at the fingertips, and he carried a knife in his right hand. Suspect #2: Caucasian male, thin build, approximately 5’11” (180cm). He was wearing black jeans, a grey winter coat with epaulets (on the shoulders), a blue baseball cap, possibly a Detroit Tigers logo, with a white “D” on the front, a red and white scarf that was used to cover his face, along with sun glasses. He also held a knife in his right hand. Ottawa: Suspects using Stolen Credit Cards On Thursday November 6 th 2014, two males used stolen credit cards to make purchases at retail stores and restaurants in the Ottawa area. Ottawa:Three retail robbery suspects to Identify The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance with the three male suspects for the recent robbery of a gas station. On September 26, 2014, at approximately 4:50 am, a lone male attended a gas station situated along the 1300 block of Prince of Wales Drive. When he gained entry, two other male suspects approached and also entered the store. Two suspects jumped over the counter, grabbed the employee, and placed him in the rear of the store. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed quantity of cash and cigarettes. There were no injuries. The suspects are described as follows (see pictures): Suspect #1 (Opened the door): Asian male, 20-30 years old. He was wearing a black winter hat, a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black running shoes. Suspect #2: Asian male, 30-40 years old, approximately 5’5” (165 cm), heavy build. He was wearing a black/grey hooded sweater and black pants. His face was covered with a black/white mask. He was carrying a red Goodlife Fitness bag, and a carried a wood stick. Suspect #3: Caucasian male, approximately 5’5” (165 cm), slim build. He was wearing a black Adidas track suit with white stripes down the arms and legs. His face was covered with a white cloth. He carried an Adidas backpack and also a large knife. Ottawa: Robbery on Prince of Wales Drive The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance with the identity of a suspect in an overnight retail robbery. On August 11, 2014, at approximately 9:35 pm, a lone male suspect entered a gas station kiosk situated along the 1300 block Prince of Wales Drive near Dynes Road. Once inside, the suspect jumped the counter, pulled a bandana up over his face, and made a demand for money. The suspect took cash, a quantity of cigarettes, as well as the clerk’s cellular phone. The suspect was last seen running into the housing complex backing the gas station. There were no injuries. The suspect is described as being a male, olive skin, thin build, short dark hair, goatee, wearing dark a green fleece, blue jeans, white runners with a black Nike “swoosh”, a black bandana around his neck, bright blue baseball hat with dollar signs and other items on left side of hat dark sunglasses, and black gloves (images attached.) Ottawa: Fraudulent use of Credit Cards at gas stations On Saturday March 15th 2014 an unidentified male fraudulently used a stolen credit card to make numerous purchases and is now wanted by the police. The suspect is responsible for other similar incidences targeting unattended wallets and handbags. The victim’s wallet, containing bank cards and other personal cards were believed to have been taken while in the area of the Kanata Centrum. The suspect proceeded to use the credit cards at several gas stations and fast food places mainly in the East end of the City. Please view the attached photos. Ottawa: Commercial Break n Enter Gas Station The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance with the identity of two suspects responsible for a commercial break and enter that occurred at a gas station. In the early hours of January 18 t h 2014 two unidentified suspects broke into a gas station located in the 1000 block of Trim Road in Ottawa’s east end by smashing the glass on the front door. The suspects concealed their identity by covering their face and believed to have fled in a dark colored 4 door vehicle. Please view the attached photos. Video Ottawa: Multiple gas drive offs On Sunday March 2nd 2014 an unidentified male pulled into a gas station in the 1800 block of Robertson Rd in Bells Corner and proceeded to gas up then leaving without making any attempt to pay. Prior to driving up to the pump, a passenger was observed exiting the vehicle and covering up the license plate with snow to conceal the plate. It is believed the same vehicle has been involved in numerous gas drive offs. license plate was obtained. Carleton Place Gas Station Robbery The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help with identifying suspects involved in a robbery at a Carleton Place gas station. On August 26, 2013 at approximately 12:00 am the Lanark County OPP attended the Pioneer Gas Station on Highway # 7 in Carleton Place, to investigate a robbery. Two males entered the store, one with what appeared to be a handgun. The suspects demanded cash from the lone male employee. The employee was not able to open the register and was stuck in the head by one of the suspects. The suspects left the store without any cash or property. They were seen leaving the scene in a beige or grey minivan heading eastbound on Highway # 7 towards Ottawa. Both front tires on the minivan were missing hub caps and the rear passenger side tail light was broken. The employee suffered minor injury which did not require medical attention. Please view the attached photos. Suspect #1 – a black male in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a black and white jacket with white arms and the number 5 on the left upper shoulder. There was a triangle on the upper right shoulder that may have been an Oakland Raiders logo. He was also wearying a grey mask, black hoodie and light blue or grey pants. Suspect #2 – a black male in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a grey hoodie, white mask and white t-shirt with baggy shorts and high white socks. The Lanark County OPP Crime Unit is continuing this investigation. Robbery VehicleVideo Ottawa: Gas Station Robbery West End The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station. On July 9th 2013 at 10:30pm, a male armed with a butcher knife entered a business in the 5800 block of Hazeldean Rd in Stittsville and robbed the clerk. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. No one was injured. Desc; Wht male, 5’10” thin build wearing a white hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and blk/wht bandanna.
