Kevin Collins, who leads the Ford
dealership group his father founded,
is a generous community leader who
is dedicated to education and medical
causes. A patient resource center offering
the latest information to families touched
by Parkinson’s disease has recently
opened thanks to substantial support
from the Collins family.
Commitment to Southwest Florida led
Sam Galloway to feed the hungry at a
local soup kitchen and support numerous
other causes, including the preservation
of the historic Edison & Ford Winter
Estates. Galloway has helped create and
N\PKLHUVUWYVÄ[JVYWVYH[PVU[OH[MLLKZ
families and helps senior citizens live
independently in their homes.
Jim Ellis contributes countless hours
and aid to numerous community
organizations, including a medical
center and a boarding school for at-risk
youth. Ellis’ contributions have provided
food, clothing, shelter and a recently
completed recreation room for men,
women and children in crisis at a local
homeless shelter.

David Fischer is a humanitarian devoted

serving education, children’s services,
health and the arts by serving on two
local college boards and contributing
to numerous community organizations.
Additionally, Fischer has devoted
himself to funding and supporting
student scholarships and educational
resources.
Stuart Powell has shown dedication to
his community by expanding its airport,
supporting the Salvation Army and a local
college. Powell has spent the past four
decades transforming a local airstrip into
an airport equipped to handle corporate
QL[Z ^OPJO OHZ ZPNUPÄJHU[S` ILULÄ[LK [OL
area. Mr. Powell has also helped build a
gymnasium, thrift store and administrative
VMÄJLZMVY[OL:HS]H[PVU(YT`
Allan Vigil is an ardent supporter of
educational initiatives who has committed
substantial resources to supporting
community health systems, programs for
underprivileged youth and community
athletic programs. Vigil’s involvement
includes sitting on numerous boards
[OH[ Z\WWVY[ LK\JH[PVU HUK UVUWYVÄ[
medicine. He is also a supporter of local
schools and sports teams.

Carol Stream community have been
touched by the generosity of the father
and son team of Joe and Paul Cotton.
The Cottons’ dedication to programs that
uplift young people through education,
fundraising and gifts to area schools,
police programs and church organizations
is greatly appreciated by the community.
Their positive impact is treasured most
during the Christmas Sharing program
hosted by the dealership each year.
John Holtz Mazda,
Rochester, New York
John and Seana Holtz are a husband
and wife team that actively serves and
provides funding to numerous groups
dedicated to helping women and
children in need, as well as supporting
cancer research. The Holtzs have shown
dedication to their community by
providing a building and staff to help a
county agency open an unemployment
resource center for displaced workers.
The couple has been actively involved in
numerous other events and fundraisers.
North Brothers Ford, Inc.,
Westland, Michigan
Brothers Doug and Tom North demonstrate
compassion within the community by
managing fundraisers and other events to
help area homeless shelters, at-risk youth
and cancer research organizations. The
Norths manage four major fundraising
drives each year that attract support from
employees, vendors and customers and
fund numerous youth programs. The
brothers also support the Salvation Army
and a local transitional housing program
that serves more than 500 parents and
children annually.
