(EPF) to be a great tool for increasing
productivity and project flow. It has allowed
us to focus on delivering our part of this
fantastic project. The EPF has helped us
do this by ensuring a smoother and more

of our supply chain. Having the flexibility to
draw upon funds earlier has allowed us to
gain better terms and pay more efficiently

In 2014, we conducted our first materiality review to
understand our stakeholders’ most significant priorities, so
we could report on what matters to them. The independent
review included workshops, interviews and an international
online survey for employees, clients, governments,
investors, suppliers, community groups and sustainability
organizations. Here’s what our stakeholders said:

In British Columbia, our Energy Conservation Assistance Programme
(ECAP) has helped 8,000 low-income families through free energy
advice, saving them $400,000 (£219,000). We have also won
another ECAP contract to deliver energy conservation to three First
Nations communities near Penticton, BC.
In an effort to train our people across Canada and the Caribbean in
an effective and efficient manner, we launched an e-learning tool as
a means of reaching our people in remote areas as best as possible.
Carillion employees now have access to a catalog of training
modules on ePOD – our online learning and development portal.
The launch of the online e-learning tool has achieved savings of
over $30,000 CAD in travel.
