CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO//WWW.FEDCHURCH.ORG//440.247.6490 1 Leader: Thy kingdom come... People: It’s often hard to see your hand at work in the world around us. Help us to glimpse your kingdom coming in the lives of others and in our own lives each day. Leader: Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven... People: Few seem to know your plans and fewer seem to care. We are often confused about what on earth your will is. Teach us your plan and work through us to accomplish it. Leader: Give us this day our daily bread... People: Food, clothing, and shelter are our daily bread. Thank you for the blessings you provide. Help us to share both our needs and our abundance with others. And help us to know the differences between needs and wants. Leader: Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us… People: This is not easy, this chain reaction of forgiveness. We are proud. We sometimes feel guilty, unworthy of your love and acceptance. And we find it difficult to forgive some people. Help us to receive your forgiveness; and help us to forgive others. Leader: Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil... People: Help us when we are tempted to sin. Show us how Christ resisted temptation by turning to you, heeding your voice, relying on your strength. Leader: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen. People: You are God, over everything. You have power. You have a plan. You have honor. Take over now and rule forever. And give us the joy of seeing it happen. Amen - Let it be so.
