Faculty Facilities Student Exchange opportunities Financial Laboratory Outbound The financial lab is a learning and research center for financial analysis. The lab provides Reuters satellite data link, Reuters and Carnegie Mellon University’s FAST (Financial Analysis and Security Trading) system. With the FAST system, students can experience live, real-time transaction in the financial market using financial data supplied by Reuters. The Lab also provides financial analysis tools such as MatLab and SAS. In addition, students can also access a variety of data sources including stock market information from SETSMART and Datastream. During their study period, students can take advantage of being a student of the Chulalongkorn Business School, Chulalongkorn University, by means of spending time as an exchange student at one of the partner universities. Chulalongkorn Business School has a number of academic agreements with renowned universities around the world, for instance, New York University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michigan State University, and University of Maryland. The MSF Program has also initiated and renewed agreements with various universities around the world, for instant, Copenhagen Business School, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Strathclyde Business School, HEC Lausanne, Waseda University, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and Goethe University of Frankfurt. Student exchange and internship opportunities are also available at Luxembourg School of Finance, University of Luxembourg. Students who are interested in being an exchange student through the Faculty’s agreements, please contact the MSF program and the Faculty’s International Affairs Office. The university-level academic agreements Faculty Library The Chulalongkorn Business School provides library service on the 7th and the 8th floor of 50-Year Memorial Building, 8.30 – 20.00 on Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 17.00 on Saturday and 8.30 – 16.00 on Sunday. However, it is closed on Saturday and Sunday during the university breaks. are more manifold and cover a wider range of countries. Inbound The MSF Program accepts incoming exchange students and free mover students from the University’s and the Faculty’s partner universities around the world to create a more international learning environment. Most of them are from European universities, namely, University of ESCP Europe, University of St.Gallen, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, University of Zurich, and Aalto University School of Business. Study Trip The Program also arranges study trips to visit our partner universities and financial institutes. For example, in the past years, the study trip destinations were Hong Kong and Japan. All students are welcome to join this trip. The MSF Program however will partially support a certain number of students’ expenses. If applications are more than the predetermined number, students will be chosen based on their academic performance and are responsible for all expenses themselves. After the trip, students must write a group report. The Full-Time program is one-year program and has two options: Plan A (Thesis Option) and Plan B (Special Project Option). The Flexible program is two-year program and has only one option: Plan B (Special Project Option). All MSF Program courses are taught in English. The MSF Program requires 36 credits to complete the program.
