he Tamarind Group is set to open its first hotel at
The Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi in the second
half of 2016.
The public areas will be a blend of social, work and
relaxation zones with a 24-hour ‘grab and go’ food duka
along with all day dining and bars.
The Tamarind Tree Hotel will be a modern concept hotel,

In the High Court of Mombasa
on 21st April, 2015 Judge Edward
Muriithi ruled in favour of Tamarind
Village Ltd on “The proposed new
Nyali Bridge case”.
The Judge ruled that Tamarind
Village Ltd. was the rightful owner of
all the property on which Tamarind
Village stands, as indeed the
property on which the demolished
Nyali floating bridge stood, was
private property and was legally and
properly acquired by Tamarind Village Ltd.
The judge therefore prohibited any demolition or eviction, unless brought
by The Government in accordance with constitutional process under The
Land Acquisition Act.
The ruling brought to a close the uncertainty experienced by Tamarind
Village apartment owners and has seen renewed interest in acquiring an
apartment at the prestigious Tamarind Village.
