The impressive Classical Revival building houses a wonderful collection of American art in the form of paintings, sculptures and decorative art objects. One of its most popular parks is East Cobb Park, with walking trails, lush open grass, a playground, creek overlooks and an outdoor stage. Powder Springs’ Wild Horse Creek Park offers athletic fields, a BMX track and the new Seven Springs Water Park, featuring two water slides, a lazy river and a splash pad in addition to a pool. A 75,000-squarefoot equestrian center and stables—plus the grounds of the North Georgia State Fair—reside at Jim R. Miller Park.
