KP CRISPS PACKAGING
HALLETT DESIGN
A REBRAND FOR KP CRISPS
Design concepts exploring the rebranding of KP Crisps, focusing on
the core values of this new and improved “Crisp & Fresh” snack.
Initial designs and sketches were presented then developed further for
market research groups, focusing on typography, colour, composition
and hierarchy of information, working within KP brand guidelines.
The final design concept features a foil banner graphic which became
a visual anchor device to connect all the elements of the design,
creating a striking brand mark at point-of-sale and increasing brand
awareness within independent stores, pubs and café outlets. The bold
graphic design provided a flexible design framework to accommodate
colour coding of the flavour variants and the introduction of new
product lines, which included the “KP Mini Chips” range.
