in the 2014 BCJLHS. Registration fees are due by 4:30 p.m. 4-H ’ ers that are
participating in the 2014 BCJLHS must to be registered on 4-H Connect by this
date if you are showing under 4-H.

2014 National 4-H Conference Opportunity
The National 4-H Conference is the Secretary of Agriculture’s premier youth development opportunity to engage
youth in developing recommendations for the 4-H Youth Development Program.
It will be held at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Maryland.
The minimum age requirement for a Texas Youth delegate is 15 years old (must be by January 1, 2014).
The maximum age for a youth delegate is 18.
Applications must be submitted on line & certified through
4-H Connect by December 15, 2013.
Final Selection of delegates will be made on the basis of the online application.

An overall Grand Champion will be chosen in each division and these will be sold in the Premium
Sale. They will only receive auction money. This rule is deleted from the 2014 rule book for the Bee
County Junior Livestock & Homemaker’s Show.
Refer to the rule under Drawing/Painted Picture on page 24:
One overall winner will be chosen from EACH sub-category. Each overall winner will compete for the
Grand and Reserve Champion craft spots in the Premium Sale. These two craft winners will receive
auction money.
